  • How to Begin Welding For Under $300
    Have you ever wondered how to get into welding but you only have $300? This is the cheapest welder for the beginner that I would trust as well as the best 110 amp welder I have used. Well in this video I show you how I got started welding for under $300 when I started welding! It was a couple years ago and after the first job the welder had paid for itself! And it did nothing from there but make me more profit from there! I made made more than $2500 with this little welder in the 3 years before I got my Lincoln ranger. I did a few small projects and a couple larger ones too. It is all in knowing the capabilities of your machine and how to get the most out of it!
    In this video I show the welder i got started with and a similar set of equipment I used to get started! This shows that you don't need a fancy rig to get started but when you get to the point where you need on it does come in handy, and you can upgrade at that point!
    The welder was a Auto Arc Toolmate 100 flux core wire feeder. it isn't a big machine by any means but is something to get started with. At the time I got it with a coupon code for 20% off an paid $175 for the welder brand new. This is the best welder for beginners and it is also the cheapest welder for beginners, and cheapest welder for beginners!!!
    The grinders I used to get started with where the red Chicago Electric 4 1/2" grinders I used a coupon for price reduction and got it for $10.
    Next i got a set of gloves and searched to find a comfortable pair an i found the miller arc armour gloves to be the most comfortable gloves i could find so I bought them for $32.
    After that I bought a chipping hammer for $5.
    And a wire brush for $1.78.
    Now after that I bought a welding helmet i chose the Jackson safety 4"x5" fixed shade helmet for $50 from my local airgas.
    and for lenses i went with a gold#10 lens for that hood for $12
    Overall this is the best welding setup for beginners! And is what I started with! So start welding today for under $300!

    I figured with me having to rebuild the welding rig that I would show how I got started in welding, the tools I used, and that you can really get started welding without a lot of investment into it as long as you take the time to learn how to run your machines and know and understand its limitations! So remember to keep on welding folks!

    welded for 2 years in high school about 25 years ago, but haven't done it since. I really liked it , but didn't stick with it after we moved. But after seeing your video, I realized I can get back into it with minimal investment and build up with time. Thanks for the inspiration. Just subscribed.

    I just bought a "2019" model Amico 200A inverter stick welder that will additionally run on 110v for $189.

      Haven’t used one of those yet I’ll have to look into them! What do you think of it?

      @@adamswelding5052 I bought it and it looks real nice, solidly built. Didn't run 6010 worth a damn, I mean not at all. Found out the advertised specs were higher than on the sticker on the bottom. It's going back.

      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety

      That sucks. You might want to look at the Vulcan welders they are cost effective and look decent don’t know how to they weld but heard some have a designated 6010 mode

    • @massa-blasta

      @@adamswelding5052 Vulcan's don't run 6010, they just raised the price on them and they have also been discontinued for a cheaper titanium line. I keep getting recommended to ESAB or much more fragile Everlast.

      @adamswelding5052  Před 5 lety +1

      Really this is the first I heard they where discontinuing them I can’t find anything on line about it. But I believe the Vulcan commander is a knock off of the miller thunderbolt so it should run 6010
