Suite Arranged and MIDI Programmed by Ashton Gleckman
Being a massive fan of the movie, here's one I've been wanting to do for a while. This suite is based on Paul's theme and a few other cues from the film, programmed from the ground up by ear based on the soundtrack recordings. Main synth elements are from HZ Zebra and Omnisphere. Orchestral elements are mostly Orchestral Tools and percussion is a mixture of Hans Zimmer Perc and Strikeforce.
This is definitely the kind of film I dream of working on one day. Maybe they'll need an extra hand on the sequel. A boy can dream :)

Hans Zimmer takes us in one mystical journey through Arrakis. This score really surpassed my expectations. My greatest respects for him.
Absolutely amazing! The only downside is that you've just made me want to rewatch the film right now for the billionth time... but it's 2am here! No! At least I can look forward to watching it later tonight. :) Again, brilliant work -- and really great editing as well! Your videos are always very inspiring.
Absolutly amazing. When i was 16 i read the first novel. Within 2 years finished all books. Frank Herbert would be very proud of your work and all people involved making this film happen.

Great job! As soon as I saw / heard the movie I wanted to try to replicate the unsual beat of the drums / tam tams that plays a couple time in the movie.

in my opinion your tutorials are the best on youtube for anyone who wants to learn film music composition
Nice job! Though I was hoping to hear some bagpipes...mainly cuz I don't know how to get that sound without a bunch of real bagpipes and I don't know of any "bagpipe ensemble" libraries lol
The bagpipes in the score are actually electric guitars imitating them. HZ talks about it in a breakdown.

in the midi file there are a lot of inst .....files but I don't know what Vst and instruments to use
