One reason I love Adam and other comedians that do more crowd work and improv to mix up their shows. I started trying to avoid someone’s social media and podcast appearances for at least a month before I see someone live now to try and keep it fresh and that’s helped out a little bit

Spurlock was drinking like crazy during the time when he was conducting the McDonald's experiment, but he lied and said he wasn't. It's generally believed now that his declining health didn't have much to do with the McDonald's and was mostly just due to the alcohol. The doctor he saw even said that his liver looked like a heavy drinker's liver, and everyone at the time believed it was because of the McDonald's, when Spurlock was actually just a heavy drinker. There are even points in the documentary where you can see him shaking from withdrawal.
Smart people at the time were even saying that if he's getting a decent amount of nutrients from the McDonald's (and maybe a multivitamin), then he really shouldn't have experienced such a steep decline in health. It didn't make any sense. Food is food, even if it's "fast food."
In other words, McDonald's needs to start super-sizing things again, god dammit!
