I'm glad you are back mick😁
Thanks Shipmate
Your East Europe. Is the castle in the city of Krakow, Poland 🇵🇱
Thanks Shipmate
Very impressive footage. 😮
I'll let him know shipmate
Krzysiu Frombork Poland 😀❤
Thanks Shipmate
A flight beyond visual line of sight, really clever! :(
It's not the best idea, as we can see shipmate
Haha enjoyed this, surely the owner will watch this. I have drone stranded on the end of the disused pier by red funnel, look forward to it featuring in the future when and if its ever picked up!!
Oh my goodness! What funny footage though. Im guessing whomever it was may’ve been in Hythe since its that direction like you said. Hope you can find the owner eventually. You can start new video type where youre criticing other pilots footage 😂 he was really far from the marina. Gutsy move, flying that far and flying right in front of the tug. but great footage and photos
With no flyer ID and serial number rubbed off, the flyer obviously had no intention of following the Drone Code! And didn't want it traced back to him if found "in flagrante delicto", as it were. My drones are set to rise to 100m for return to start, in order to avoid smacking into things, but obviously this drone's flyer didn't do that. I would have thought that the drone's obstacle avoidance sensors might have caught the obstruction, but obviously didn't. Perhaps obstacle avoidance doesn't work when returning to start due to signal loss?
I know what you mean shipmate. Also, it was getting dark, perhaps obstacle avoidance doesn not work in low llight?
The other problem, there is an 80m ceiling at that point in the port, and a good chance the ship was higher than 80m.
Rip drone 0:22
Indeed Shipmate
enjoyed the video foorage lovely view from the front
Thanks Shipmate
Your Ski jump. Look very familiar to the one in Zakopane, Southern mountains in Poland. Have been there.
The owner of the drones is posabley, Polish.
I think you could be right Shipmate
Interesting. Crime. My partner is Polish..
You may find the owner.
I hoped that i have been of some help
John, Portsmouth
It seems most likely that the drone was engaged in a 'Return-to-Home' on lost signal or low battery without sufficient altitude set for this manouever
You are absolutely right Shipmate. There is also a flight restriction in that are of 80m and the ship is taller than 80m.
those pics you dont know are of the grand arch in Paris and the one looking down the champs elysee
Yes, that's what he told me Shipmate
Or did the ship hit the drone? 🤔
Certainly resulted in a crash, Shipmate
Safety first!! Try to get the lithium battery out, and place it safely away from any flammable objects. Edited When I watched your vid properly, you had downloaded the SD card! - - The horses heads image - I can't recall the name, but it's on the Caledonian canal.
The Kelpies are just outside Falkirk shipmate
The curved building right of centre at 8:11 appears to be the EDF building in Puteaux, Paris.
Had that look about it Shipmate
thats central Paris @10:54
I think you are right shipmate
Ouch!!
You can say that again shipmate
The Stadium is Portsmouth. You can just see the Spinnaker tower on the horizon.
So you can Shipmate.
On today's cruise ship live , You didn't say anything about the Fred Olsen cruise that is leaving Southampton also tomorrow
Forgot about that one shipmate.
11:10 I recognise that
So do I shipmate. Have the same photo.
Stirling Castle
Thanks Shipmate, I think you could be right
why didnt the obstacle avoidance system activate. he must have been in sport mode
On return to home mode obstacle avoidance doesnt really work. Thees a warning when you set rtm height
Also, it was pretty dark, not sure if that makes a difference shipmate
@@SolentShips it still should have avoided unless it was on sport mode
Ooopsie
Indeed shipmate
Austria.
No Poland.
Yes shipmate, I think Poland.
Poor little drone!! 😔
It was a big accident for the little chap, shipmate
In USA they target bridges
More challenging to hit a drone Shipmate
Isn’t that the pro 4 which should have avoided it
its a dji mini 3 cine in the crash
It was a mini 3 pro
Only one number out lol
It was Mini 3 Pro shipmate. Probably too dark for the colision sensors to work.
Not London in a million years!
I thought I saw the gherkin, Shipmate
Oops. 😮
Yup, Shipmate
What is the matter with the sound on this video? Really annoying frequent break up which is a shame as this is a cracking video.
Thanks shipmate. I was having problems with the Microphone, which I have now fixed. I didn't notice at the time.
An incompetent flyer who breaks every rule which the CAA set out and not even the owners registration number which has to be stuck to the drone. A total idiot who ruins drone flying for the flyers who follow the rules, I could go on listing the faults. The owner should be fined mega bucks. plus it is like the idiots who fly near to airports and cause problems and get responsible drone flyers a really bad name, send this one to Geeksvana ( on you tube) as he would be interested in this
