@@_Its.Emma_ common sense..I never split a pill without first consulting my Dr. or Pharmacist. Splitting extended release pills can have dangerous results.
I currently work as a filler at a business that packages medication for long-term care facilities - I can't speak to the effectiveness of the other products in the video, but the one they rank #1 is a personal favorite for cutting large numbers of half-tabs. The one trick to using it is that the lid is a relatively loose fit and the blade is affixed to the lid. pressing evenly downwards with either both palms on either end of the lid or by pinching the lid on either end to get even downwards pressure while keeping the lid centered gives me the best results.
It wouldn't shock me if there's a better product out there somewhere though.
We have the pill organizer shown first in the video.They are convenient.The only downside is the black day and time lettering wear off after a few months...Remedied with a fine tip black felt tip pen.

These are advertisements, not real reviews. I've used the Apex and it's not good at all. Doesn't cut the pill evenly. A good pill splitter should have blades on both sides.
