I am hooked on the format of your videos. You really bring a real sense of reality to the story with the maps. Thank you for all the effort.
Isn't he great!
He the best
I'm hooked on his content too, all started with the tate/labianca vids. The detail he gets into is awesome, he leaves out all the bs. Great work
👍
Great job!
Love this guy's voice. He could post a video of himself reading the phone book and I would listen to it.
Agreed
You guys are funny:))) I find my voice boring:))))) But thank you!
Agreed, his voice is amazing. If he did Asmr, I think it would be really relaxing!
Absolutely hilarious comment! I just found this video randomly and had it on while cooking and it was such a smooth ride vocal wise. And then I read this comment and cracked up!
Nobody likes the sound of their own voice!
I feel like you'd do a really good job with the D.C. sniper attacks. That should be one for the future!
That would be a good episode
Late in replying, but I completely agree
We heard the blast sitting in our school room quietly reading in Yukon about thirty minutes away ...I was in fifth grade. The teacher thought it was thunder.
Just Wendt what city were you in?
@@forresthaggertychannel4301 Yukon, Oklahoma.
@Gangsta Macc no "she" speaking as myself... said Yukon, Oklahoma..😊
You have done a great job with this channel, you should be proud of your efforts
Thank you! I think I still like your channel more :))))))
I really must say... Your time and research is most appreciated.
When I stood outside that building right after it happened, I learned what surreal fully meant.
comet1227 the memorial and museum are powerful, emotional and gut wrenching when I saw the photos of the babies.
My condolences
I remember that too....it's a quiet that I've never heard before and still remember...only heard the rescue workers and sniffles from people trying not to cry loudly💔
My memory from all the coverage that I remember most is the fireman carry a lifeless child named Bailey.
I was a few miles from the blast. Even there the building shuddered. My parents were downtown for a doctor's appointment and I - being in elementary school - had no way to reach them back then. It was a horrible couple of hours until I knew they were fine.
Years later, I was touring the OK State Capitol building and was shown a quilt that had been made of stitched sections contributed by each of the 50 states in support of OK. It took up an entire wall and was magnificent.
My experience was almost identical to yours. It was a very scary time.
Top 3 episodes.

All that planning and you would think he would fix his license plate on back of his old Mercury???
tom ayres also if he used the name Bob Kling to check into the motel they would not have known he was in jail.
I can see how he tried to conceal his identity, but he did a piss poor job which got him caught. Stupid! Anyone find out who the mystery victim was? To this very day they don't know who the extra leg found belongs to.
@@forresthaggertychannel4301 ...exactly. This McVeigh dude wasn't very bright. Probably never rubbed the room down to prevent fingerprints from being taken.
He belonged to a group that thought using license plates on your car was oppressive.
@@southbeachmiamiart895
There was no mystery victim. The leg was ID'd to a know victim. This whole "extra leg" was just defense BS.
You can just hit "N" to reorient google earth to the north. Also "R" to back to looking straight down.
Once again you’ve created greatness. I’ve lived through many of these events, but the news doesn’t ever paint the whole picture. Thank you.
Thank you for putting light on these stories as you do.
nice always great to see a new video of yours
I was 11 years old, driving my Grandfathers 79 GMC down a backroad near our home in Nebraska when I heard it on the radio. Crazy how you remember such things. Great video, love your content and style. Thanks.
I remember about year after it happened, my friend and I were chatting with a girl, and while I can't remember the distance, but her dad worked either several blocks or miles away from the Murray building , close enough to shatter the windows.
FH should make an educational software package based on his Google Earth format and it should be included in the high school civics/history curriculum.
I love that idea! Did you know that in Chicago, they're actually debating whether to even _teach_ history in public schools any more? So it makes Forrest Haggerty's videos even more important.
I remember requesting you go over this maybe 6 months ago. Glad to see it finally, always love the videos you make. Keep up the great work!
Love, love, love these videos. So incredibly detailed with all types of detailed information. Looking forward to the next one!
This channel is one of those hidden gems on youtube you just cant find on purpose. Great videos my friend very underrated channel.
I remember when this happened. Such a sad day. I always look forward to your content!!
I had been anticipating your next video. Thank you for making these. Take care.
I was working in Irving, TX that day, and I learned about the explosion from my employer’s central alarm station - one of our unused building’s alarms was tripped by the blast - the location was in Yukon, OK. What I remember most about driving home to OKC that afternoon around 3:00 p.m. - EVERY southbound vehicle on I-35 had their headlights on. (In 1995, daytime running lights were few and far between). It seemed like a four hour funeral procession heading south from OKC. I wept like a baby all the way home and hugged my wife and kids like I never had before.
Excellent again! Always look forward to you posting 👍🏼
Forrest i just love your work, your videos are outstanding!!!! Thank You
I can tell that very much work went into making this video. Very good and clear explanation of what happened. Thanks
Amazing research work and final material. Congrats!
Thank you Forrest! You always do an amazing job with your research and presentation!!
Excellent reporting as always!
Thank you for your amazing content.
I absolutely love your channel and love the way you actually show us up close an entire timeline of different events. I've seen so many documentaries on this case but I've actually learned more things in your 20 min video than an hour or two long documentary. Great job as usual.
What dedication and editing to put this video together! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing details of a horrible event. Excellent job Forrest
As usual, your videos are informative and thorough. Thanks, Forrest, for putting out this content.
Thank you for this, awesome work showing the timeline and stops along his journey.
I was born and raised in oklahoma city, I’m still here and i think about this tragedy every day.
You put a lot of work into these videos and they are awesome. Keep them coming.
Thank you for your content! I have watched your well thought out micro documentaries for a few years now, and it always remains interesting. Just enough length to keep me hooked, very well done :D
Always so well done Forrest. Bravo!
Glad you posted! Ill be watching tonight
I think his last meal was mint choc chip ice cream. Great video!
Thank you for showing each step--this was some work--and I for one appreciate it !
Always look forward to your videos, they're really interesting and mesmerising. I'm surprised you haven't got more people subscribe to you. Your videos are amazing. I could watch them all day.
WOW! I was exercising at a Gym in San Jose and the club had CNN on when this atrocity took place. We were all transfixed by the scenes on the screen, this was about 6 years before 9/11 so we didn’t have all that many national tragedies that we could see unfold before our eyes in real time yet. Kudos on a great presentation Sir...
Superbly researched and presented. I enjoy all your presentations. Take a bow my friend.
You do such a great job. Thank you for the videos.
Such a great voice and channel, could listen for hours
Another brilliant video Mr. Haggerty!
Very well done doc on a horrific event. Thank you Forrest.
Forrest, you bring such a unique portrayal to history, giving us the sense that we are there with you, albeit virtually. Pinpointing exact locations when you're at a historical site sense gives me a sense of gratification that's normally impossible to achieve by watching videos online. But you're defying that. Love this channel.
Love your channel. Great work. Thanks.
Very sad. Another well put together, informative video @Forrest Haggerty. Love your work. 👍👍
You earned yourself a new subscriber, love you content man
Excellent clear concise narration. Bringing to light the little-known facts that bring the whole story together, thanks.
Outstanding. Great attention to detail as usual.
I love this channel. Great work 👏
Big love and respect from across the pond 🇬🇧
I always look forward to these videos with google earth. They’re like a bedtime story. Great format.
I was a in kindergarten. I was a miles away from the bomb. I remember feeling the blast and looking at everyone else. We were in confusion.
Your narration is the best, love your videos!
Got caught in the CZcams rabbit hole of your videos. They are fantastic and you have a new subscriber. As a geography nerd these videos are extremely fitting for my enteraintament and educationally interesting in learning of certain event locations.
Hell cant burn hot enough for McVeigh!
Great videos as always!
Another great quality video. Thank You.
Thank you Bill and Janet
Love these type of videos. No music, clear information, and just any topics. Really makes it feel more eerie.
Great video as always Forrest. Hope you are keeping safe and well :-)
Love these videos you make. really keeps me engaged with just the facts and simple graphics, it's like eating food with the bare ingredients needed.
thanks for your great research
Well done.
Very detailed presentation!
Excellent video format. Keep it up
I was in the baseball dugout in Dover about 60 miles away. It rattled the dugout pretty good
I enjoy and love watching your content, really amazing! work effort you put in to them.
Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you much for this video. I know that as a CZcams channel provider, it takes time to create and promote these videos.
I was in OKC that day in 1995 on business, but not when McVey's bomb went off. Traveled from Tulsa that morning around 9 a.m. CST. On the way we saw quite lot of cop cars on I-44 which was a bit unusual. When we got to our destination, we were told that OKC closed all of their schools down and the entire city was in lock-down status. A panic situation..."bombs going off everywhere" as I recall being literally told. Looking back, it was a knee-jerk reaction response, and I now see how mis-information can easily be spread quickly.
My favourite historian :) actually this was really interesting story to hear and watch. Thank you.
Excellent clip. I learned alot I was not aware of, ty
Great content
Brilliant work. Love your vids.
Thanks for putting this together. This forever impacted our community in Oklahoma. There are still many scars and unhealed wounds. #neverforget
Found your channel in YT recommendations and loved it. Please do a video of Nimitz UFO encounters! I think it's a perfect fit for your style.
Thanks Forrest, another excellent one, you have a talent for doing these videos. I'm sure you put much work into them. How about The Battle at Little Big Horn?
That would be great!
Now everybody knows Custer died at Little Big Horn. What my book presupposes is: Maybe he didn’t?
It's so crazy his route of his Escape Is right behind my workplace The parking lot he kept the car is right behind my building
I like the play by play information in your videos. Thank you
Wow great job with this video and narration
Thanks Mr. H
Great video forrest as usual! now im curious what happen to james an terry nichols lol
Where did you find the information on the location of the getaway car? From what I've found, the car was parked behind the YMCA on 5th St.
Your videos are really great and informative. 👍
Thank you. Just thank you. I have watched most of what you offer and they are amazing. I witnessed first hand alot of what you show. Keep it up my friend. Keep it up. People must know the truth. Bring it!
Great raconteur. You remind me a lot of my high school history teacher .
Amazing channel. Keep it up!!!
I remember this. I lived less than 20 miles away and felt the blast.
The Rangers at the Memorial state that where you stood next to the Survivor Tree was the actual street level.
Your channels content is really great, I hope you make many more videos like this! I have a great uncle who worked for the Department of Agriculture who was in the building when the bomb went off. 19 people were in the room and 11 of them were killed. His story is something I won't ever forget.
Rick Thomas my plan is to keep them coming.
My mom worked in that building. I still believe its more to the story, but we will never know.
we may...
I'm not sure how many of these comments you read Mr. Haggerty but I thought I'd make a suggestion that not many people have heard about. The 1920's Bath School Bombing in Michigan. I did a bunch of research but wasn't able to find locations of his home and farm. Just an idea for a future episode. I think you do a fantastic job and if I had a channel this is exactly what I would do. Thanks again and we really appreciate your effort.
Thank you.
Amazing once again.
Forrest, love your videos. You may want to consider one on Gary Gilmore? There’s quite a story there. Keep up the great work👍
Very informative, thanks
Hi Forrest! Thank you for this. Do you think you could do one of Hurricane Katrina?
I was just in Oklahoma City recently but didn't have time to stop by the site. This will do. Thanks!
Thanks for Sharing All These Google Earth Videos. Very Informative. Could You do one on Hank Williams Last Day.? Keep up the Good work.
