    I'm wondering why there is so much stuff on the shore.....I can walk along the Rivers here in Canada and come upon the odd more modern bottle (usually plastic) but seldom is there anything else, maybe the odd bit of garbage left by another hiker or so. Is this stuff thrown there by careless people or is it left from years ago poor landfill practices? Just curious...
