I have a question! Was it really necessary to unhook both sides of the phone when you were only replacing the front ? Don't know if I skept something but at the end of the video it does not seem like it really needed to be unhooked all the way.
The panel below the battery needs to be removed in order to detach the wire of the screen. Dunno why the upper section was taken apart.

Use isopropyl alcohol when disassembling the phone. It is absolutely safe for electronics, since it contains almost no water, therefore, it does not oxidize the contacts on the boards.

After removing those tiny screws which had white stickers on their top side will void warranty if it has !
Sometimes the screen is connected from the back, As I remember the Asus ROG Phone has its screen attached under the battery, and moving the battery on that phone causes damage to the battery, so each time the screen is replaced it needs new battery too

Why remove so many elements? I have the impression that it is enough to take off the back side, unplug the screen only, take off the screen and then plug the new screen back in and put it back together. Am I wrong?
Perhaps to avoid breaking the main board or lenses. I've done this job myself and removing the screen is quite challenging, so removing the fragile components first is safer but not mandatory

I wish we can see more than just unplugging stuff and switching new parts, letâs say if the motherboard was toasted or some other part of the phone was broken and needs some deep repairs I donât think this guy can do it. Idk Iâve only watch few of his videos and all I saw is changing screens or battery and simply unplugging and maybe replace motherboard and thatâs it, not soldering or anything.
