Tropical Storm Julia Genesis - St. Augustine & Jacksonville Beach, FL

Watch the genesis of Tropical Storm Julia as it moved up the NE FL coast on Tuesday September, 13, 2016. Our chase began near St. Augustine where the system was classified as Invest 93L. We tracked with the system's core up to Jacksonville Beach, where the storm was designated as Tropical Storm Julia. The rare tropical storm which formed over land, created 50+mph wind gusts along the immediate coast, as well as torrential downpours.
