I think this trailer perfectly represented some of the characters: at 1:26, Cook is the one to break out the fight (as usual), at 1:28 Emily and Katie are arguing as they always do, 1:37 has Freddie fighting after the mess Cook as created, 1:41 has Effy messing around and getting up to bad stuff despite what's happening around her, 1:46 shows JJ and Pandora hiding away while getting caught in the middle of the mess their friends are involved in and 2:12 has Thomas putting other people before him
Not really It shows effy and jj Leaning on each other, as much as they are friends, she’s not that open with him Same with Freddie and Pandora, it implies that Pandora has a crush on Freddie when she doesn’t
The 1st generation had the best story in my opinion, it got to you the most. The characters were close friends to begin with and they loved eachother. I love the 2nd generation but it's just lacking that family element that was so present in season 1 & 2. They seem to have all just met and they hate eachother, but we love them anyway. The third generation is a complete disgrace and I refuse to acknowledge it as a part of the skins franchise.

Sort of like the whole Generation 1 thing, everyone was so used to gen1 that they didn't want gen2, so in the bar where they are the 'newcomers' that no one wants and end up trashing the place and then run away. I've watched all of Skins over and over again. This is the best drama series in decades! It's so true of my youth, and I am 47!! The cast of every season have been fantastic from the start to season 4. I hope season 5 can match the high standard of the first 4!! Keep up the great work.

I don't think people can compare the first, second and third generations of characters on Skins. They're all different and I love them all for that very reason. That being said, I love this trailer, along with all of the others :]
I enjoyed Skins more than Inbetweeners because I got more out of it. I invested in more emotionally, Inbetweeners grew tiresome with endless parade of nob jokes and Chris longing for Carley like some hopeless puppy dog. Jay and his never ending swearing I found grating in addition to the rest.
I LOVE Skins! Didn't think they'd pull off the new cast, but they proved me wrong, as I thought they might. It's the best programme on the telly by far. So well written.
you would have thought Freddie was the player, and cocky menance in this trailer, but really that was cook and Freddie turned out to be an emotional wreck!
haha some of this reminds me of me and my friends. I love this show, i don't know how i'll cope with the new characters but it's Skins so im gonna love it :)

Skins was an amazing tv show but Season 3 was just on a different level, I’ve regularly binge watched the entire season 3 in one day.
