- Finally! Bose release firmware 4.0.22, which adds multipoint connection to 2 devices, much lower noise floor, and improved call quality.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this update. But with so many people returning, we have to assume it's the best they could do. And sadly, they don't come even close to the Huawei FreeClip, not in terms of sound and especially not in terms of call quality. The only downside to the Huawei ones is that they look like earrings.
Did you experience any random disconnects or audio not playing with this recent update? This bug has been plaguing me since the prior version. Great video!
not since the update. I did had a few random instances in the past.

How did you get the firmware update? I can’t seem to get the latest version?
I went to the product update section in the settings menu in the app and update it.
so, they fixed most issues, including connectivity issues ? ?? Really surprised of Bose... The bar is in hell since this is the bare minimum, but they have such a bad track of never adressing any issues post release that im pleasantly surprised
Totally agree, I stayed away from Bose for a long time for these reasons, but to see this update (they also updated the QC Ultra Buds) it was a pleasant surprise.
@@jetfuview the market is way too competitive nowadays for them to rely on their name aura, which is fading anyways. All companies should take note
My version is 1.10.4 and the Bose app tells me that's the newest version. How come you have 4.x?

Yes! But only if you are looking for an open style of buds and value fit/style over sound quality.

Hello, I'm an audiobook listener and don't listen to music, so I always use only one earbud. For me, the MOST IMPORTANT feature is not comfort, not sound quality, but the ability to fully control the earbuds using only one of them when the other is in its case. This means volume control, power on/off, and possibly noise canceling must be possible on each individual earbud. Do you know of any Open Earbuds that work this way?
With these, you can control: play/pause, skip fwd/back, customized shortcut, and volume up or down. Therefore, you can just about do everything with one earbud with one direction of volume adjustment.
