The funniest part about the gold vs gold foil value discrepancy is the foil looks soooo much better than the regular. They're the best looking parallel in flagship imo.

I got a vintage stock Bobby out of a hanger box last year. My sister gave me a couple for Christmas last year & I pulled it. Might be my best pull ever.

Got a Gold Foil Bobby and Julio in 1 box! They’re being shipped back to me from PSA and got ‘em both 10’s! Both are true golds.

I do love those gold foils too… well, except for the ones I bought in a PSA 10 about a year ago of he who shall not be named - one from series 1 and the debut from update. 🤦♂️

Wish gold foil was numbered. All SPs should be numbered.
While its too early to write off any of these guys it is eye opening to go back 2 short years and what used to be 5 or 6 chases is really down to just witt and julio. Fun rip thanks for shaing.

Sorry to be another commenter on pulls but I pulled the gold Julio out of a hanger last Christmas and a vintage stock Julio from a target retail hanger pack 🫨. I had some crazy Julio luck last year! I hope you find your gold 🙏

My best Auto ever came out of 2022 Update hobby box. Julio Rodriguez 1987 gold parallel /50. It was a redemption that took 7 months to come but soooo worth the wait!

I opened sickening amount of 2022 update & have NEVER pulled a Bobby Witt b or Julio Rodriguez gold parallel… but I’ve pulled about every one else I don’t want

@StrykerBreaks you talked about some of the stories you've heard about Gold Julios... I pulled his true gold out of a blaster from my local Wal-Mart, then two weeks later, my sister-in-law pulled another true gold Julio out of a blaster from the same Wal-Mart. Just not sure how that happens! Hers graded a PSA 10 while mine came back a 9 though, haha.
I pulled two golds out of 7 -24 pack retail boxes that I bought and also had a Julio sp out of this lot. Retail was very good to me.

I'll forever have a soft spot for 22 Update but I think I'll sell off my stash for Jackson Chourio stuff for my PC come later this year. Julio and Bobby are awesome, but a Brewers superstar...gotta go big for that!

Also disagree, Zito at $11 is not terrible in the whole scheme of things. Especially for a unumbered base Auto. Givent he scrub players that signed for 2022 Topps i'd argue that was a decent hit.

Anybody know how to evaluate price on a 1 of 1 card? I have a 1 of 1 Michael Harris auto rookie card foilfractor. It's a new money bowman card that I ripped from a Bowman Platinum blaster. No clue what it's worth.

I would suggest looking at what other 1 of 1's of his have sold for and go from there. Bowman Platinum isn't a highly desired set so that will hurt the value a bit, also being an insert and I'm assuming a sticker all factor in negatively. Still a great hit though and worth a decent amount I would assume.

@@JaredHettler no prob, if a player signs the actual card, it's usually valued more highly than if they sign a sticker which is then placed on the card. Topps uses both for different sets, I believe platinum is typically sticker autos. You can tell by looking at it and seeing if the signature is on a sticker. Hope this helps!
