- It's here! Samsung's latest S24 Ultra, in violet titanium. I'm super excited to check out the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the S24 Ultra is so far a suprisingly great phone - with very little compromise. Stay tuned for my long term review of the S24 Ultra!

Same reason why I purchased the S24 Ultra. I got bored of my iphone (though I still have it with me at home). But I transferred the SIM card to my S24 Ultra which I will use as my main phone now. Really love the violet, so unique shade of violet and very elegant.
I just opened my S24U in violet! Absolutely gorgeous!!
Went to Best Buy to play with the S24U. It's an amazing device!!! At times I want to go back to slabs, but I'm really loving my Fold 5...
Fold6 will be worth the wait, im so stoked. I feel the same way though haha, the s24 Ultra is super tempting, but I love the foldable experience too much.
Ha. Right? Since I had new device envy/desires, I went ahead and got a new case for my Fold just to feel like I have a "newish" phone. 🤣@@Cjohnsonmuisc

Bought the same device, with the same colour and the same storage capacity. Violet stoods out the most!

The more I look at the orange the more I regret getting the violet one. I prefer orange, second pick would be violet though.
I had to get the violet if I wanted it early next week. Im becoming more and more ok with it. Some people don’t like the silver border but i don’t mind it. Definitely glad I got it instead of my other option, yellow.
I just got my phone 10 min ago!! and I agree the flat screen is AWESOME!... That said, the Whitestone Dome UV Film worked like a dream for the S23 Ultra and cheaper.
I personally used the 10x zoom on s22 ultra many times and loved it so if I go this route we'll see how it goes

I just got my ultra 2 day love it so far. FYI here in the states you get $150 worth of money for accessories
how do you get it so you dont have to hit ok for the pin once entered. i no longer get that option
Do not get the Dome glass with adhesive liquid is the worst if you ever have to take it off people don't tell you that it takes a long time to take that adhesive off your cell phone it doesn't just peel off

Also really curious what screen protector you go with! I'm so tired of the Dome Glass UV Adhesive crap! I remember when I had a flat screen Samsung ( ages ago, yes I'm old ) and those screen protectors were THICK! I would say about 5x as thick as the Whitestone Dome curved screen protectors.
9 years has gone since the last flatscreen Samsung. Hardly ages ago
I got the titanium violet also and love it!
Pre ordered s24U from s20FE so im excited from my jump to mid to top tier 😁. Did choose the VIOLET as its seems unique to every color with diferrent color of the sides. We will all buy casing though so it wont matter 😂
Gonna pre-order on mon for the ultra. I CANT WAIT 🤩 but I can't decide, tho which color to get the grey or violet?? (I wanted either the green or blue but I'm pre ordering through at&t so I can't get the samsung exclusive colors 😔)
The more I see the violet the more I’m ok with having to get that one. It’s the only one besides the yellow that would be here early next week so I settled for it. People complain about the violet to silver two tone but I actually like it. It needs to get here already.
same I got that one gonna come before jan31 I wanted to get natural but waited couple days now pushed back march so I went with violet
I use the 10x a lot, though, for wildlife photography. Losing that has me more tempted to swap out my S23 Ultra to a Pixel 9 Pro. (My Pixel Fold will likely go to a Z Fold 6 if that happens, though. I do like having at least one Samsung device.)
Another thing, i notice the picture quality has not improved that much. The AI thing will not be available by 2025. Im also thinking getting the google pixel.
I have a question, how easy is it to transfer over from iPhone to Samsung?
Pretty easy, and a smart move to say the least. The only issue that you'll run into is the apps that are not cross compatible. That said, most important things such as videos, pictures, and contacts are pretty much seamless. ENJOY.

I have the z fold 5 and I'm not gonna lie, I'm missing my S22 ultra. Have zero complaints on the z fold 5, been loving it. Seeing the new S24 ultra is making me miss my old phone. Torn between which one to use. Can't get over the fact that samsung is only giving me $750 credit for my fold 5 versus the $1000 they gave me me for my S22. Makes no sense. Might wait for the fold 6 or S25, or might pull the trigger on the S24 😂

Up until this video i thought the silver titanium was the best. Now i think differently.
Samsung seems like it listens to the user feedback, especially cause of the flat screen.
And the wider Z Fold 6 coming before end of this year
Although I always prefer this colour which is different from the s24 purple but the titanium is best colour this year
how is the screen compared to the s23 ultra. people are complaining about the screen on the s24u stating the screen isn't as vivid and bright as the s23u due to the anti glare

Same boat. Using the iPhone 15 pro max and kinda wishing I was using the S24 Ultra. I’m getting bored with iOS. It that’s usual. I switch off every other year. So when I jump upgrade with my carrier I’m sure I’ll go Galaxy.

none of your so called reviewers has pointed out the panel has a significant color mute problem.
It's because of a software issue where the vivid colour mode dosnt work on any S24U phones
The S24 vivid colour mode doesn't work, thats why the colours look washed out.
Samsung is aware of the issue.
At the moment the screen on the S23U looks much better.
All s24 owners need to contact samsung about this problem.
Thay told me it would be covered under warranty.

First of all...the iPhone complainers don't matter because the zoom on that phone is a utter joke compared to the s23 Ultra in general. This one too.
I definitely agree with you about the iPhone plus all them updates they kept on doing was causing so many bugs and it destroyed my iPhone so at that point I said I was done with apple I'm so glad I switched to the galaxy s24 ultra it's the best phone out

Mine doesn’t come until Monday. I had to reroute it through Idaho because California Government Tax is too expensive and I wanted to use my Free Upgrade Fee. I’m worried that I’ll lose out on Apple Pay and the synchronicity of my iPad which I am so reliant on. But I’d like to think I’m brave enough to give Android a try with all this bells and whistles. I just hope Samsung does not give me any headache. I have been getting buggy glitches on my music Bluetooth connection when I use my iPhone in the car. And my apps have been getting moved or hidden inside my App Library without my consent. Those are my main grievances on this iPhone 13 Pro Max which I do enjoy for convenience. Honestly I think I’ll be OK with the Samsung s24. If there are any issues I’m sure I can Google a solution to make my phone experience easier like an iPhone.

Orange is the most unique
I always put a cover on phone so the colour of body is irrelevant.
I chose the Natural Grey titanium because of the gold undertone. I like white colors. I have intense hatred against black colors and I also hate the grey. But when I saw the golden hue on the titanium grey I was 100% sold. The funky colors are not my style either. My smartphone will always be white, crème or gold because they are elitist colors which scream luxury and arrogance.

I use 100 time camera on 23u with raw see if I can reach to the moon at night boy it got real close feel like it next to u iphone 15 pro don't get close enough to reach it

Bro don't use screen protectors, just put a good case and you won't need screen protectors, we have great quality gorilla glass
I haven't lost my note 9 stylus yet. It's neon yellow/green. If I get the S24 ultra I will lose that stylus for sure. Ugh only thing I don't like is that stylus color. Boo.
Don't forget does s24 ultra is on Wi-Fi 7 instead of Wi-Fi 6E

I am also bored with the iPhone. Just ordered my s24 ultra. Going to keep my iPhone just in case I can’t adapt to Samsung, but I am bored with iPhone.
i also love purple but they butchered this colorway but doing a duo-tone with back glass and side rails.
I left apple ecosystem too in 2021 after being an iPhone user since 2017. iPhone is so limited and quite boring.

I review phones
People claiming it is hard to find good screen protectors for the curved display is speaking nonsense. Literally the biggest brands who makes screen protectors has made them for all of samsung's phones for the last 10+ years. I had the galaxy s8+ and currently the Note 9 and have had no problems finding both first party glass screen protectors such as Zagg invisible shield as well as plenty of second party ones online. That annoys me when all of a sudden companies come out with a new phone and people start complaining about things that were never actually a probally before.

I'll return my galaxy S24 Ultra and keep my galaxy S22 Ultra don't get me wrong the phone works great the problem is Samsung messed up the images are less color I notice galaxy S 22 ultra and S23 ultra are more vivid color and when you play the games the color are vivid and S24 Ultra the color is less and sometimes in the game the caracter looks a little be it blurry and video looks so pale you can compare to other phone and you'll see the big difference so disappointed 😔I'm big fan of Samsung but this model make me sad
First Impression is that the screen looks washed out and difference between vivit and natural are noone. Screen looks worse than S20 Ultra
