I really like how versitile that bat is. I think the most versatile bat is either the voodoo or the vandal but man what an impressive proformance from Easton.
That thing sounds exactly like my 2014 easton xl1 bbcor, and like you said just that little bit of end load for a nice feeling swing which gives great up the middle power
I feel like the hype should get a chance 1. Because of the sweet spot, 2. It did do better on the exit velos it’s a way more comfortable bat to swing too
And prob because he just bought one.

I'd never spend $500 on a bat that's gonna literally fall apart after a few hundred swings. Kinda dumb you have to be pretty loaded to have a half decent bat for most leagues.
@@Veganerd_ I mean that’s just close minded because composites can actually last pretty long but u just can’t guarantee it. My bro has had his meta for 3 years could say the same for the goods, bat is fire but I’ve seen it break multiple times. It’s more like 3000-5000 swings. I don’t think the price makes any sense, but it’s a realistic bat if you’re an on base type of hitter. This ones probably better than the meta tho, sticking w my voodoo one

I have two kids a year apart but won't be on same school team (therefore can't share a bat), for the older he has a 2020 Voodo One, should I get another one for the Fr to be or try something different? Was considering the Victus Vandal.

so im a 6’2 250 sophomore power hitter and i swing the 2020 33/30 adv and it’s too light for me, I also swing a uncupped 33.5 30.5 chandler RA13 wood pretty comfortably. should I get the 33.5 2022 goods, a 33 select 718 or a 34 hype

what tripod do you guys use to film?
Mako is the best -10/8 because it is durable and gets hot when you use it. The green Mako and the orange ones.
My son is 15 and 6’1+ and 175 pounds. Last two or three years he has been hitting a cat7 1 piece. And it has served him well. Time for a longer and better bat. I’ve gone back and forth between Hype and the Voodoo. I know you love the Voodoo and I can see why. My son is not pure contact or power. His size and strength have him trending towards power I think. But when he hits varsity level he will see a whole new level of pitching speed. The only reason I was considering this was the sweet spot being larger and it’s a little heavier on the swing weight. So is the Voodoo really that great of a bat? I’m torn. Thanks.

I’m 180 pounds 5’11 and not exactly a contact hitter but not a power hitter either, I can hit decently consistent with some power but I’m right in the middle. I was looking at the nox but this might change my mind. What would you guys recommend and price isn’t a issue

@@baseballbatbros I looked at the voodoo one but I had a cat 8 and I didn’t like the sweet spot it just felt way too small compared to my friends comp bats and hybrid. Ik they aren’t the same bat but the cat 8 was popular for having a big sweet spot

Great bat, super light swinging, amazing pop. Look at the 2020/21 review because they are the same bat with a different paint job

The Easton ADV Hype sounds like the Mako Back in the Day I miss that sound

You should compare the usssa version vs the ghost x usssa
Put it up against the running up in composite madness and if it moves forward then it can go on from there.

I use this bat, we got it used for $100. Its an amazing bat. I love it. Ive hit a home run w it and it is amazing
I got my -3 adv for 100 dollars because it’s a demo bat , when I got home I wiped the bat and it had no scratch or marks and was BASICLY brand new!!

Bought a 33" and 34" Over the last couple weeks brand new for $75 each. Just an incredible bat, yea I wouldn't pay $500 for any bat but for my Men's league this is just a ridiculous composite, feels amazing & tons of juice.
Sounds a lot like the Easton Mako! As soon as I heard the sound it was iconic sounding! Easton is trying to make there comeback as the top bbcor!
What about the Easton Hype USSSA -5. Do you think it will be better than Zen, Zoa, or Cat9 Composite ??????

Just because feels better towards end doesn’t mean performs better out there. I swing the 360 and agree sweet spot don’t always feel the best but enjoy watching ball sail over fence
