This looks like an awesome flat bar gravel bike, I really like the changes Trek made for this model, nice job James!
I love my fx3. Compared to my previous road bikes, the big tires give plenty of cushion. My roads are mostly flat, so I thought the lighter carbon versions would be overkill for what I need. If I was doing more climbs and longer rides, I would totally go for the carbon models. Trek gives a lot for the money.
do you miss the multiple hand positions on the road bike ?
My brother's best friend bought one. He absolutely loves it. He will meet up with us on it. We will be on our road bikes or gravel bikes. He has really nice road and gravel bikes but loves to ride the Trek the best.
LOL
@@ivanboesky1520 LOL @ you
I like that brands are building these higher spec'd hybrid bikes. As a bigger guy I like that there is room for bigger tires as well. The extra cushion is nice. I have the specialized sirrus x 4.0 with the future shock and it been great rolling 38 or 42mm tires!
42 is normal for me. I got 47 now with kona dew deluxe its nice
Yes indeed, I used to have the 2021 specialized sirrus 4.0 and the 6.0 all carbon and they were bomb proof..lol..It was quick, could handle bigger tires, nimble, and was an all around bike..the 6.0 with a swapped out crank(shimano 105/ultegra)& carbon rovals wheels could easily stay with a roadbike..trek should of made these FX bikes with a thru axle..
Yes, this is the future. flat bar / disc gravel / road with fat tires. just did 55 on airline trail with my flatbar mtn/gravel/road 29x2.0.
I test rode the FX Sport 4 yesterday.. and it is so light, rigid and responsive. I think it's the perfect bike for someone that likes a road bike but wants some comfort... but it's a road bike... reminds me a little of the Cannondale Quick Speed or 1. The head angle makes it turn in very quickly. It's so stiff that every input is applied. Pushing on the pedal converts to straight line acceleration.. and then ride quality is somehow magically smooth and compliant.. it's all the good stuff about carbon. But it wasn't for me because I like more of a mountain bike 'feel'.. I need a slacker head tube angle... and I wasn't nuts about feeling the shifting, which sounded/felt odd... kind of crunchy on the bike I rode. It used the Deore 10sp setup... which I have on another bike, where it shifts a little better.. might've needed adjustment. Overall, I thought there was nothing even close value-wise for $1700. Great bike... just not for me.
Man I’ve got a top-level DS from a few years ago, but this bike completely blows it away. I don’t see anything in the gravel market that comes close for a flat bar bike at this price.
Have an giant revolt advanced 2 gravel, recently bought Trek FX 3 2022 for cycling to work and back, alu frame carbon fork, 1x drivetrain hydraulic breaks, love it simply, best for the price
Yes! love my new fx3 also
Looks very similar to my specialized sirrus x 5.0
I love the enthusiasm you bring to your reviews!
I just bought one. Brilliant for commuting. The one by drive chain is superb. I rode a rail trail and it was great. Im off to ride gravel this weekend. Should be fun changed my tyres to 36 width. Mine is the fx3 its great.
Basically the fx line is so versatile.
Is it not to slow? I'm running a 46 upfront and it is only just fast enough.
Excellent, to the point review. Went into the store to check it out today. I had been told this was the bike I needed but I purchased a Marlin 5 MB 4-days ago. No regrets but I may return it for the FX. Speed wins!
The x1 drivetrain is a huge disadvantage. Jamesthebikeguy says "Trek has revamped its FX sports series...." unfortunately this revamp hasn't worked. I've had countless hours of power riding on the previous FX 5 sports model; what a super bike that was, but sadly a car smashed my front fork. By comparison the 2022 model is a sloth.
It must mainly be down to the drivetrain. I'm now seeing if I can put my old x2 drivetrain on this 2022 model: if not I'm selling.
James, a great and thorough review. As you pointed out, the bikes are coming out with Promax brakes despite advertising the much better Shimano mt 201 on their website. The Promax are inferior I think. They also eliminated the iso speed decoupler to save money, added three pounds and priced it almost $200 higher than a similar spec’d and more road oriented 2021 4x. My guess is the Specialized Sirrus x series is the target.
MSRP last time I checked for a 2021 FX Sport 4 Carbon is $1819. Same 2022 model is $1699. I saw both model years at the same bike shop two weeks ago when they first came out.
@@Mike-up6go yes. But if you look at the specs, the 2021 FX4 compares very closely to the 2022 FX5, thus the price increase I was referring to.
Review the FX 6 Plz with carbon rims!
Nice, but they removed the isospeed decoupler in the rear. No size XXL in the carbon models.
I have a gold 2008 fx 2 I love it. Fun fact I live three miles from Trek headquarters. I know people that work there and Trek treats their people really well.
I decided to try a crosscountry bike tour at the age of 61. I called TREK as I was unable to find a 54cm 520 model locally. I was informed that only 2 bikes existed at TREK stores in the USA. One in IL and one in WA. So, good luck trying to find what you're looking for in today's environment.
Too bad Trek wouldn't tell you what independent dealers have in-stock. For instance, my LBS has a 54cm Trek 520 Grando in-stock as of 4.23.22. You got to call around and not just rely on Trek's own stores to find bikes during this national bike shortage.
my back is not liking my road bike lately. i am thinking about getting one of these to have a better position for road riding.
WOW Made in CAMBODIA !!!!!!!!!!!!
Full Asian Tour
From Taiwan - To China - Now Cambodia - Maybe Vietnam Next !!!!!!!!!!!!
Just picked up a new 21 FX4 Sport leftover on clearance for a little over $1200. The 22 FX4 lost the 1x11 GRX group set, iso-speed frame, the 23 FX4 is now $1800. The components on the 21 FX4 are pretty similar to those on the FX Sport 5 and 6. Feel I got a hell of a deal, if not a steal!
I just went to a bike shop and noticed this as well. How are you liking your fx4?
@@IYIrPerez I’m really enjoying it. So far I’ve been on a few 15 mile rides, just picked it up last week. Can’t wait to get more time on it. Hell of bike & for $1200 it was a bargain & too good to pass up.
I should of shopped around, picked up the fx sport4 for $1500 at local dealer. Same price at trek online for the old stock bike. Change out petals for clips and will change out for larger chainring and to 35c tire for comfort.
My riding buddy has one of these. It’s a nice bike.
Seems to be a lot of hate on this in the comments, I’m someone who bought a FX Sport 5 and really enjoy riding it. I prefer to ride my MTBs but I ride 4 to 5 times a week and my after work training tends to be on the bike paths accessible from my house. Many of my riding friends only ride road and I wanted a bike to ride with them on the 40 mile group rides, we also have some local and not so local gravel roads that I show up on….so this Trek looked like a do all I want bike with flat more comfortable position. I have neck issues from my career and drop bars are painful.
I didn’t buy this bike to impress or depress anyone I bought it because it checks the boxes for me, however every person who has inspected this fx5 has thought it is a very cool looking ride. The bike manufacturers are exploiting the consumer demand, shipping out way to much abroad, and using non-spec parts to put a bike on the market but that’s our current world. I have bought 3 new bikes in the last year and only because my local dealer is trustworthy and loyal to their customers.
Great video. .convinced me - I have an appointment tomorrow with local bike shop to get fitted for one of these !
Have fun!
@@Jamesthebikeguy purchased. 2nd bike purchase based on your videos. Great work.
This might be my next upgrade from my Giant Escape 2(2020 model)
It’s a gorgeous bike, for sure, but I still feel like they should have kept the road version of the fx sport. You can see it even in the fx 3 and 4 with the deore drivetrains that trek is slowly diving into the gravel craze, and I’m not such a big fan of it, as I’m sure some other people also won’t be. I’m hoping sometime in the future, trek will bring back the road focused fx line, but I think for an upgraded hybrid I’d look to other brands
100%
Totally agree. What other brands/models would you look to instead?
@@bc67 Honestly , not sure, I think trek is in its own level, because it was a fitness bike with isospeed and carbon, which soaks up bumps, most other brands are like the regular fx's, the only others one like fx sport is specialized sirrus 5.0 that has future shock (isospeed competitor) and is carbon, but that's way to pricey i believe . Giant has one bike like that , think its called fastroad sl, but Trek still were my favorite.
Yeah. At least 95% won’t use this as a gravel bike so why those tires.
@@bc67 SCOTT Metrix 10 2022
It looks awesome though the lack of a hill climbing front ring is limiting.
Looking good. Some things I would have concerns about. Some I like.
I'm very seriously considering one of these. What are the best bang for the buck road dampening things I can do to lessen rider fatigue? I could add a suspension stem and seatpost, but I thought I heard you say the seatpost isn't carbon- maybe just add a carbon seatpost for starters. I could also go tubeless and maybe take the tire pressure down or go to the carbon wheelset. Althought i might as well get the 6 if I'm going to do that. Thoughts? Thanks for the review!
“Just Ride Geometry” now, that’s a buzz word I can love! 😍
motor cycles have a cheaper section for "twin shocks" (cheaper bikes)
I wonder if gravel riding would benefit "metal frames" section? Just a thought
Great video. Thanks!
Great informative video as always. Question.... Whats the name of that bike stand you are using?
I’m a little confused. When looking at the Trek site the FX Sport 5 components in regards to the brakes match the 6 to the “T” except the finish, pedals, and wheels.
I sold my Crockett 7 for one of these. Its not as light, but the comfort and rigidity of it more then make up for the weight. The GRX groupset is Incredible! The brakes are lacking, but everything else is incredible.
Yeah but definitely upgrade the bike, if keeping it for a long time
what color did you get ?
Thank you! Tried out FX3 Saturday. FX5 rare. FX6 none available. I found a red FX5 Los Altos on sale. Beautiful mix of gloss and matte. 700x40mm cushy stable ride on old broken overgrown roadways shipyards, islands, bases, concrete walkways around marinas and bridges, dirt fire roads, packed dirt trails around SF Bay. Brakes warranty to Shimano MT201 for smaller hands. I got the duoTrapS sensor and the blendr stem duo mount for gopro and light, change pedals to nylon mtn.
Are the Promax brakes as good as the Shimano?
@@ryanstanley6002 Unknown. I was not able to try out a bike with the Shimano. Promax may be a cheaper alternative.
@@CB-ld8no how did the fx 3 compare to 2022 fx sport models, which was more comfortable ?
@@JitinMisra What a full carbon has over aluminum is instant communication from bottom of foot to roadway. Need to test both bikes on bumpy hilly roads and packed dirt. And thus determine if one's ride is worth the difference in price. If commuting where I have to lock the bike FX 3 hands down. Also I desired the middle Shimano components over the Deore. The FX5 beautiful paint job is nice. But full carbon and better Shimano was the main factors in my purchase.
@@JitinMisra So in the parking lot test ride, on normal roadway did not notice any discernible difference FX 3 has a carbon fork.
I think it's an interesting bike but I don't see the need to have carbon models. If you're in the market for a carbon bike you're typically looking to reduce weight. For the same price you can get an X caliber 9 that's slightly heavier (swapping to a rigid front fork should offset that difference and if you wanted faster gears just change to a larger front ring) but far more capable and comfortable or an aluminum checkpoint that will be able to do everything the FX sport does and is 2-3 pounds lighter.
Some people like nice stuff, and carbon rides nicer for sure. It's kind of like nobody needs a BMW and you can buy a Kia, but some people want something nicer than a Kia
Bullshit! Some of the very worst riding bikes are CF bikes. There is nothing about CF that makes it ride better or smoother than a properly designed alloy bike. Nothing. You’re just reciting CF manufacturer marketing bullshit! And CF’s an incredibly non-eco friendly material to make things with. It takes almost 15 times the raw energy to produce the same amount of raw CF as it does to produce most alloys. Producing CF is one of the very worst materials as far as its greenhouse gas impact, and it is a material that is very costly to recycle and therefore almost none of it gets recycled. It just goes to landfills and sits there for a very long time before breaking down.
@@ivanboesky1520lighten up Frances! And btw, this planet won’t spin one rotation longer because you bought an aluminum bike from over a cf. You’re just repeating liberal tree hugger propaganda bullshit!!
I was looking forward to you doing this one. I am really disappointed they didn't keep the road variant hybrid like the 2021 FX SPORT with thin tires and isospeed. I hope they also bring those out! Not everyone cares to go into gravel , and it'd be strange they only have road oriented hybrids at lower level , but gravel hybrid at higher end. Do you think they'll bring out road style fx sport , James?
I got my 2021 sport 4 carbon two month's ago and love it. It was a one and done model I guess.
@@casey6588 how effective is the isospeed? Is the isospeed also on the handle bars?
@@JitinMisra It is the perfect bike for me, smooth flat bar 1x11 and isospeed seem very comfortable but I also have a older infinity seat I put on it. That is it, the rest is stock and awesome. I waited over 13-15 months to get it. It is a one model one year run. The new one looks cool too hmmmm....
Just change the tires
@@casey6588 I work in a Trek Store - we are getting in 2022 Sport 4 and 6 Carbons. Definitely not one and done. Supply chain issues are lessening, bikes are starting to flow in.
FX sport lacks gear range compared to Checkpoint 2BY. Will 12 speed GRX like a 11-5x change the game?
Trek website says 22.2 lbs
Whats causing the difference? Pedals? By 2 lbs?
Does the weight vary with different size frames? What size frame is in the video at 24.56lbs?
This frame is a size Large. Trek quotes the M at 22.7 lbs.
I got one and upgraded the tires to Schwalbe.
You failed to mention that this year's FX Sport 5 is essentially last year's FX4 Sport [same gear set, color, derailleur] but for one big omission - for this year they dropped the Rear Iso-Speed seat suspension which flattens out the bumps and is something standard on the high end Domanes. In essence, they put on wider tires but de-conted the bike. That's a shame.
I've been commuting my Marlin 8 alot lately, might need to look into something like this
This would definitely sprighten up the ride
Same here but I can't bring myself to ride a bike that looks like this 😆
Nice bike but its heavy for a carbon bike imo.. I got a 2011 specialized sirrus alloy an can fit 40c tire not sure what it weighed stock never scaled it. But am using xt v brakes. Xt shifters. Xt brake handles
Easton Circuit wheelset or my mavic krysiriums an can scale in at 21.5 an 22 depending on what tires im running an of course tubless always lol.. This trek is a nice bike if it had rim brakes an an better wheels i would be into it more im old school yet haha
I'm wondering if Trek will offer a road-centric FX model again in the future? This bike looks neat for gravel, but for my normal ride needs I'm fortunate I was able to get a 2021 FX 6.
I'm not sure there's a need for a road centric version. Even the previous generation a gone 1x And if you stuck a 32 mm tire on this bike, it would be just as fast and comfortable is the previous gen
@@Jamesthebikeguy I was able to make changes to my 2021 FX 6 (which is a 2X), allowing me to ride with A Group Roadies. With the changes to the 2022 models, I would not have that luxury/opportunity. If I were in the market for a new frame, I would have to look at either Giant or Canyon for their top end hybrids. As a disabled person, I realize I'm in the minority of Trek's business decisions, it's just frustrating to see a solution I can work with go away. Gravel is great and has it's place, but I spend 95+% of my rides on tarmac with bike clubs.
do the hubs on the wheels come with sealed cartridge bearings? i can not find that information out anywhere. i know they are formula hubs, but that is all i can find out. and is it worth stepping up to the fx 6 if all i want to do is ride on roads?
This frame has a Klunker vibe to it. The shape of the top tube is interesting
There are NO mounts for racks on this frame! The "braze-ons" are for fenders only.
I'm curious why some get promax and others get the shimano breaks. For that kind of money isn't shimano much better??
What are the rear dropouts actually like? I'm trying to work out if it would fit on my Kickr 17 turbo. Would need to have a 10mm open cutout to sit on the actual hub. If so then I think this would be ok even if the hole for the skewer itself to go through is a closed rather than open hole in the frame.
Be careful lot of carbon bikes won’t fit with trainers or will damage the frame
Why is it so heavy? Full carbon and 24lbs? The Canyon Roadlite is Aluminum with a carbon fork and weighs 22lbs for the cheapest model.
Good overview. :)
Nice Review. Can you tell me where to get that bike stand?
Really like your channel.
Always good info.
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
i had the 2021 version of the fx6 preordered till they revamped it to a gravel setup
wanted the 2x11 and 105 groupset
this current fx5 and 6 dont have as much lower gears for the nasty hills i have to deal with so i switched to the fx3
from a 1.0 lower gear to .87 lower gear (42 vs 46 cassette)
my 2021 fx1 has .81 and didnt think i could chance going all the way up to 1.0....
didnt think the GRX could handle a 46 or higher cassette ....... the 2021 fx4 could handle a 51 cassette but they are sold out
almost 25# for carbon seems heavy..... wonder what the fx6 with carbon wheels too weighs
The weight did seem quite high for a carbon and especially with it being in a 1x set up. The other option you'd have with gearing on the 1x would be to swap the front ring for something like 38 tooth only real time you'd spin out on it would be descending (26ish mph at 90RPM) and it gets you down to a 0.9 gear ratio.
@@joshwilliams4646 yea thats a thought too
hoping that 40 up front and 11 to 46 in the back is enough for the hills... guess experiment with going to 11 48 and see if it can handle it..... or 38 up front....
I read that this will actually be better on hills. It has a lower gear ratio. Look up the reddit forum FX 6 sport 2021 vs 2022. As for the gravel setup tires can easily be switched out.
@@ryanstanley6002 thats my post from reddit lol
@@dagobaker I was beginning to suspect that I think they answered your question about the hills. Lol
That's actually really cool
Dang, that is soooooo nice.
Looks very nice! Basically exactly like my Specialized Sirrus X 5.0, right down to the paint finish.
No doubt that's what they had their sights on
I hate those Trek grips. Bought a DS3 in 2020, the first thing I did was have the LBS change to some proper cylindrical grips.
Oh Boy Deal killer
I hate cylindrical grip. Putting weight on a round tube that puts pressure on a smaller contact point makes zero sense to me and is flat out not very comfortable.
I got the FX3 Disc and I am in 30 day period. But what i find dificult is when i go to a slight bit of gravel i find difficult to balance. I am wondering if Sport can mitigate it. Also, how does the fat tires impact the speed. Will that be balanced out due to ligher frame? This is my first bike though.
What is the tire width of your FX3? You may want to decrease the amount of pressure in your tires to handle loose gravel better. If that doesn't work, you may want to upgrade your tires to a larger width. If still within your 30 day return period, you might want to trade up to an FX with larger tires, if larger than your current setup. Larger width tires will always impact speed. It's a trade off that you have to consider. Do you want to be faster with narrow tires or more confident on different terrain with wider tires?
Get some advice. I was riding very loose gravel on 35 mm tyres. I was slipping around on loose gravel. I converted to tubeless tyres at 40 mm. Tubeless means you can run at much lower pressures. Should get more traction
James, I have the FX4 Sport mainly because there is literally no inventory of any bikes in this class and i got lucky enough to find a store that had 1 single one left in stock. Im also 1.2 weeks new to bikes and like to have nice things...Can you upgrade the FX4 with the components of the FX5? Like can i upgrade to the GRX drive train? Shimano Disc Brakes? etc?
Do u have the 2022/2023 FX Sport 4?
Its funny that the 2021 model of the same bike has the components u desire. My LBS has both the 21 and 23 model and I'm deciding on which model yr I want to buy. They both have their pros and cons for sure.
@@jcadvanced yea the 2023...I'd rather have better components imo...i should done more research..however...I'm lucky I even found this bike after 12 LBS's
@@scottrivkin3307 funny, I'm in the same position as you were. I half seriously went into trek store right outside my neighborhood not intending on buying anything since I already had a mountain bike from Costco in mind. Checked out and rode a couple of their bikes. After the test ride I was like there's no way I'm spending $700 or $1000 on a bike. After that night I started looking into these bikes along with the competition... And now I'm like is $2000 enough for what I think I want? 🤣
Anyways, the components you have are probably pretty good except for the lack of the Shimano branding on some stuff. I'd love to have 2023 frame with 2021 FX4 components. But I guess that would be the 2023 FX Sport 5 in a way. Lol. I really like the 2023 frame, it's beefy!
Enjoy your ride.
Beautiful bike.
Still not sold on 1x drive trains
11÷ kg for a carbon bike, there is something wrong there I think?
Cheap bikes are cheap bikes mate, doesn't matter what you make them of. An good aluminium or steel bike will always be better than a cheap carbon fiber one.
My specialized sirrus pro 2017 is 10kg.
I’m not worried about the weight, it’s the ride that’s amazing! If you have ever used aluminum hiking poles and then tried carbon, the reduction in vibration is incredible. I’ll take an equal weight carbon bike over an aluminum one any day. This is definitely my next bike to go along with my FX3. Thanks for the review James!
@@TheKitchenTechnicianhave you ridden this bike ? Does it seem too upright compared to fx3 ? I have the fx 3 but felt this was wayyyyy to upright ,

I like a lot about this bike, but am really disappointed that they equipped it with fatties over the outgoing 32s. I was looking to upgrade my Dual Sport 2 to one of these and will now either have to search for a 2020-2021 model or look within another brand.

If you got promax on the fx sport 5 you should be refunded money. They basically gave those when they had a shortage on parts. You’re paying for shamano parts not cheaper promax parts that came with the 4. You really should’ve mentioned that. They are not equal by any sense and as a review the bike should get a hit to the score for Trek doing that.
Those handle bars need to be adjusted down.
I always liked Trek because their bikes fit me like a glove with very little adjustment, but some of their design choices boggle my mind. Swapping out the normal 12mm front and rear thru-axles for the "thru-skew" and removing the Iso-speed (from the previous model) were nothing more than cost-cutting measures. They updated the geometry and tire clearance, but regressed in compliance and overall upgradability. This is the same company that came up with the bogus 141 QR boost standard that is still almost impossible to find a solid upgraded rear wheel for (outside of having one built). I love Trek, but they're always being weirdos to save a few pennies. Only thing positive (I guess) about it is that they do it on bikes that don't have an enthusiast crowd, so the backlash is minimal.
I agree. i was able to compare a 2021 and a 2022 FX 4 Sport carbon model side by side. Frame on the 2022 is much beefier and with the wider tires ( and wheels ? ) the weight for a 2022 model is over 2 pounds heavier. IMHO if you want a fitness bike to ride strictly on pavement you are much better off buying a 2021 model. It has more of a road bike feel but with a flat bar. If you want to go off the beaten path a bit, then the 2022 model might be a better choice. MSRP for a 2021 is $1819 and for a 2022 is $1699.
The FX Sport 5 in this video retails for $1999, the Sport 4 is $1699
As soon as you said “carbon frame” - I’m out. Lovely bike, I just don’t like carbon bikes, as in my opinion, they’re just not as durable and long lasting as alloy. And c’mon, who’s going to tell the difference whilst riding to work / using it for fitness. Also, the inherent design failure with carbon - it’s not recyclable, and it all just ends up in landfill.
Not only is CF very difficult and costly to recycle it is also about 15 times greater to produce as far as the raw energy consumed to make it and the greenhouse emissions needed to manufacture it versus steel and other alloys.
From a pure environmental standpoint it’s hard to find a more non-eco friendly material to fabricate things with. In addition, over 20% of the raw CF scrap waste produced in the manufacturing of CF objects never gets recycled at all. It goes directly to landfills where it’s life to decay is extradordinarily long. That’s why I get a laugh at all the ignorant bozos claiming they are doing soooo much for the environment on their silly overpriced and incredibly environmentally unfriendly CF cookie cutter rides. Especially the clowns running out to buy the “latest and greatest” CF bike with CF wheels every year. But loads of humans are really stupid creatures when you cut through all their BS. 😀😀
Yep…I have to laugh at all the casual cyclists who feel they “need” carbon fiber because they believe the BS the cycling industry has fed them! The vast majority of cyclists couldn’t tell the difference between steel, aluminum, titanium and carbon unless someone was telling them what differences they should be feeling!
@@ivanboesky1520 And I bet it's especially frustrating when these same idiots disagree with you politically.
Looks like a domane with mtb tyres
Pretty much lol
You’re amazing
So another new trek bike that nobody can actually buy or find. Seems ridiculous to keep cranking out new models when they can’t supply any
Yea easier to maintain my ass.. I will charge double to replace that shift housing
It’s pretty heavy for a carbon bike
I get that this is a Carbon bike but this is $2500 here in Canada which is insane for a FX series.
100 k is insane for a car, but lots of them cost that much now
@@Jamesthebikeguy well yes, if a Porsche costs 100K that is normal but not for a Honda or Hyundai.
Looks a lot like the Specialized Sirrus 6.0
Almost 25 lbs, NO WAY!
What if I just lost a few pounds, would that balance it out?
fx4 居然不是桶轴, 是老式的快拆,是最大的败笔, fx4 居然给的是散珠花鼓都不是轴承的,
2000$.
$2000 but nice
It's a simple all terrain bike/hybrid bike/cross-trekking bike with a carbon frame. Really nothing special.
I hope you find something that makes you excited some day.
Big deal. I’ve got super chunky 40s on my 7.3 that cost me $150. But, this one’s carbon so it’ll crack quick and have to be replaced. 1x so you’ve got crappy range for the road. And off brand brakes? Lol. Yes. Nice bike.
so a non carbon would weigh 30lbs lol
