Of course after his final devastating injury of many injuries which was rupturing his achilles in 2013, his true decline in the league started.

    I seen this game. They called 3 petty fouls on Kobe causing him to foul out. It had to been some money on that game. Kobe was so hot that night, the only way the Bobcats we're going to beat the Lakers was to make sure they got Kobe out the game and that was exactly what happened. This was Over time # 3 and he was still lighting them boys up. Kobe scored 58 points that night, and would've had more with the win in his pocket had the refs not called them bs fouls.

    big fan of Kobe's especially since I'm a Lakers fan as well. I just wish he would have passed a little bit more. Not that he needed to but when you see him do it, you see that he was/is very good at it. If he would have average a little bit more assists it probably would have got him a few more MVP awards. Only thing I dislike about him is all the $$$ he accounts for on the cap. I mean I know he says its a business and he's right but he wants those rings just as much... sometimes some sacrifice is needed to bring in the talent to get those rings. His ego and demand for massive dollars has probably cost him quite a few rings

  • @phsfootball141
    @phsfootball141 Před 8 lety +3

    imo its hard to pin point a "best player". i seperate it between best big man and best guard. kobe was the best guard in the league from 2000-2011. shaq and tim duncan were the best big men. and lebron was the best "big man guard" lol

    • @samuel2pac72
      @samuel2pac72 Před 7 lety +2

      Cameron Parker which guard was better then him in 2012, a PG right, I can't think of an SG for that spot In terms of SG I can say with confidence that between 03 and 2013 it was Kobe Bryant. Pre 03 my knowledge of the league is not as strong. He was a beast since 2000 tho.

    • @phsfootball141
      @phsfootball141 Před 7 lety +3

      in 2011 2012 and 2013 there was still no other shooting guard better than kobe. he was not quite himself or up to par in 2011 or 2012 with what we had gotten used to seeing for the past 10-11 years. but then he had one of his better years in 2013 even though the lakers played like crap. as far as pre 2003, i believe he was the best guard since 1999-2000 no question. some people argue that mcgrady was better but i dont think so.

    • @samuel2pac72
      @samuel2pac72 Před 7 lety +1

      Cameron Parker Oh yeah T-Mac, well he was Kobe just put the work in relentlessly, T-Mac was a natural and a better shooter with a better body frame and size. That does not mean he punked Kobe, by no means actually quite the opposite according to experts Kobe was overarching.
      Yeah 2010-11 to the 2011-12 we did see him dip, I remeber that it was due to knee and shin tendentious, Kobe took all those German producers, and then lost wight for the 2012-13 season. Then we saw Kobe play like it was 09 (physically speaking) such a complex season tho, but he put up great number and before he went down he played some of his best basketball. And that was Kobe still holding back so he could have some juice for he playoffs. So sad.
      Defiantly 03 Kobe was most likely the best player in the league period, even Shaq called him his ''idol and the best player in the league by far''.

    • @Balal8281
      @Balal8281 Před 7 lety

      Cameron Parker I don't know, I feel like Iverson was the best guard from about '98 to '03-ish, then Kobe entered his prime and became not only the best guard but the best player in the league from '03 until around 2010. And it's been Lebron's time ever since, along with a slew of amazing point guards.
