I think it's one of your videos or interviews... but there's a story about an old lady in the medieval period who had a magical talisman for many years, which she could not read, that helped her failing vision or something until a traveling seminary student read the Latin inscription to her, and it ends up not saying anything helpful at all but something vulgar and nasty, and the old lady dies shortly after. Know what I'm talking about?

Dividing “Divinity”.
Amalgamating anthropomorphisms and axioms.
While few, in a section of this organism, saw themsleves as chosen and seperated by a fabricated and so invisible source..
The majority on the lands of Turtle Island, Anahuac, & Tahuantinsuyu (for as long as they were isolated from the rest of the world) did not believe in seperating the sacred, but instead saw themselves as part of a sacred whole, from the Sun to the Soil.
Therefore, what was found to be beautiful, was creation as a whole.
Even for our ancestors, it would have been concerning, that the beautiful was being dispised in this manner.
Why do you think Plotinus was separating the sacred? His argument is that the One, the Good, and the Beautiful are all synonymous.

I’m ok with being corrected.
Sacredness, in our native tongues refers to a balanced creation, that balance sustains the endless movement between rest and regeneration. If someone is unbalanced (ie an extremist in an direction) they are no less a sacred creation than one that is balanced.
The sun is no more sacred than the soil you just shat on.
This is the a priori assumption I begin my analysis with.
In “on the beautiful”, ideas of Beauty/The Beautiful/Beauty Itself/Lower Beauty’s and similar terms are used to create a cast system for sacredness.
All time stamp are approximate.
@9 body becomes beautiful. (Not already beautiful)
@11 fire surpasses everything else in beauty (levels established)
@13 contemplate a beauty of a higher order
15:12 soul is an eye that perceives real beauty (mentions species of beauty)
@18:34 mentions deformed soul : baseness in souls
@19:50 so base it becomes impure and looses splendor, pristine beauty destroyed when covered w earth/clay.
@21:10 cleansing is required to regain splendor
@22:26 ancient oracle declares.. a soul not purified lies immersed in filth. Friends of filth. Delight in mire alone. Temperance is not delight in corporal delights, these things are not pure or offspring of purity.

@36 in order to be pure of mind you must remove impurities like an artist chisels away and polish until you’re beautiful (because you are not already beautiful being wholly sacred) and wait for the divine to shine upon you (because you are separate from the divine and not already wholly divine)

@39 everyone (not already god like sacred/divine) must become divine and of a god like beauty
Before looking upon a god and the beautiful itself (because we are not already god like and beauty itself)
