- Who finds treasure just laying there?! Today Gail finds a find of a lifetime when we go mudlarking for river treasure, but we never thought we would find one of these! Alex also discovers one of her bucket list items and we both have an all round epic adventure!

A crow or magpie would surely peck a hole right through the glass for that Gold sovereign if it were spotted placed in the window of wonders! lol. WOW.. Incredibly amazing find! Congratulations Gail!!! enjoyed the history bit of the snow baby and think the small antimony box Alex found may also be a great addition to the window of wonders.

I can't think of anyone more deserving of a beautiful gold coin than you ladies! You look at ALL your finds as if ALL of them are made of gold! You bring such joy to the world. Congrats on your majestic find!
Absolutely gobsmacked. Alex finds a headless doll and kindly asks the river to give her a whole doll please. Snowbaby appears. Not wanting Gail to feel left out, said river produces a gold coin in amazing condition. Not to mention the beads! Safe to say the sovereign is worth way more than a pound nowadays. Congratulations!

Great video!!! My favorite part was when Alex said, “I’m trying not to say something bad!”
At that moment I would have let the expletives fly!!! The beads were stellar and all the little bottles, too!! It is amazing how the glass items make it through all that mostly unscathed!!! As always I enjoyed your video and thank you so much for sharing!!

I live in eastern North Carolina, and the coastal areas around our Outer Banks were one of the favorite stomping (and pillaging) grounds for the notorious pirate Blackbeard. His real name was Edward Teach. Several years ago off the coast of Beaufort, NC, his flagship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, was salvaged off the bottom of the sea near where it was sunk when we were still a British Colony. I wouldn't mind going treasure larking for Blackbeard's loot.
Definitely Congratulations to you both! The gold coin is totally unique. Someone guided you to it. The Snow Baby is gorgeous. So small but in super condition. The pelican egg holder is so cute plus it has a bit of iridescence glow to it.
What a lovely day, I’m still smiling, obviously the snow baby will join the sovereign, but that red bead would have been up there for me. Well done you two, it just shows how hard work, a positive attitude and persistence really has stunning rewards. All the shiny copper too, what a day!

Here in the Midwest, we do not have codd marbles, vulcanite or glass bottle stops. The tiny bottles are a WONDER. All in all, phenomenal day of a lifetime.
