Typical Dylpickle I've been wanting to make my own 4x4 full suspension chassis yet the only part that's killing me is that I don't have the small wheel hubs, wishbones, and cv joints.
CG Cacho It happened the same to me, just search a set with the pieces you need.
A week ago i buyed 42029 online, its supossed to arrive today and it has all pieces i need for a full suspended car
There is this website called bricklink, where you can order specific parts

I like how little some of these videos require. I have about 4 lego technic sets over all (one was a lego offroader that came with power functions, one a plane, one a helicopter, and a smaller quad-bike) and just the pieces from those is enough to make almost anything you have. :D

Ive only been able to do that in one stable design. Its pretty damn hard without proper pieces.
@@kusobz9553 without suspension it's pretty ez but yeah with suspension it's hard... I managed to make a car that could be 4x4 but it wasn't great...

you should upload this to lego ideas, you have made my car project easier, except my version will use a manual steering rack and a drive shaft.
I forgot to add, the drive shaft is so I can have the engine in the front like a real car, making the weight balance realistic, unless I decide on an f1 car which will use a shorter drive shaft and pushrod suspension

Not to be mean here but this is just a RC version of the Lego technic formula off roader but with out the body
I was able to buld the car with my 7 year old buying some of the missing bits on the go; it required a great of patience and a lot of rewinding but now I forgot how to connect the motors to the rc unit can you help?

Something like this requires a instruction BOOKLET, not a video. I'm not saying this isn't good, I'm just saying it's hard to follow.
+Munch553 I agree with you, a build of this size does require another form of instruction, or at least I shouldn't have speeded it up so much. Learning by doing I would say☺
I like this build because it mostly has all the pieces i have already.
Try using .25 speed not x1 speed Hachiko when watching the video

Which set of lego technic parts or model do I buy to build something like this?
This is built with parts from several different sets, but set 9398 crawler contains all the electric components and the tyres, and set 42037 is a great source of suspension parts and that sort of stuff👍
