  • The series 51 tach offers a lot of functions normally found on higher priced tachs.
    5 inch display, Recall to review highest RPM attained, Backlite color is user selectable, Shift Set Point has Three alarm presentations.
    External Shift Light Flashes and it can be removed for a cleaner look.
    Backlite Flashes alternately from pre-set color to RED
    Audible Alarm makes Beeping sound.

    Most tachs have 4 standard wires ( green,white,red and black ),but are there some tachs with 3 wires ? (red,black and green ).

    This tach only works on 4, 6 or 8 cylinder gasoline engines.

    but in fuel injection we can't find ignition coil. so where can I connect?

      You must have either an electronic ignition output signal or a connection to coil negative. This tach can only be used with factory standard ignition systems. If using MSD, Mallory, After market HEI or other non-factory ignition systems, you must use a tach signal condition. These are not recommended for racing as they are stepper motor tach and have about 3/10 of a second delay.

    Is it compatible for 3 cylinder engine? Like mirage 1.2 liter..

      No. It only works on 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines.
