Love the crowd that comes to ask questions. Screw the cars, what does that giant blender thing do??
Yeah they were really interested, I was there for over an hour chatting lol

One of my favorite things to do is talk to people that are curious about it, so cool
I am sure you were a star in caffeine and machine that day😂.
It was certainly different. Yes they were very intrigued.
her patience is epic :-)
Three times in one day! 😮
Helix all the way, ive plowed fields with mine a couple of times and its still good.😃
Good to know! I'm seriously considering it.
It's what my mentor recommends too. Easier to get balanced too evidently (as a gear supplier, he gets them balanced professionally by an aviation company before we take delivery, costs a little bit more that way, but so worth it)
Bad luck!
What a frustrating day, you took it all with a very good spirit, and so did your wife.
My wife would tell me to get a taxi! 😮
haha same! i can so relate. "why you call me? you wanna fly? you go get yourself home!"
A good flight for me these days is when I don't have to land out.
It's it wonderful that low hung car enthusiasts are so aligned with us low flying free riders? Not a surprise really
Yeah I felt right at home!
Love that video Mark! Prop must have hit something at some point to have started delaminating.
Ps you have a very tolerant misses. 😳
Yes it did a couple of years ago and I repaired it. I suspect the repair was not the best, and the prop is 10 years old.
so not REALLY an engine out.... but still... Bugger. Guessing all looked fine on the pre flight.
Yep all looked good
Oooooh BUM 😐 ... well, look on the bright side .. a full day of fresh air 😉
:D
By my experience props don't "delaminate" without a cause... Something fell into it. Most likely a loose screw, a spring, a lace from the harness, an unattached accel line or a brake toggle.
I repaired it a couple of years ago, and probably got worn, nothing has gone into the prop as far as I know
If it wasn't for 'bad luck' you wouldn't have any luck at all.
Bring your prop to wacky weekend and I’ll repair it :)
Thanks but already sent it to Rab
Never heard of a prop delaminating. How old is it?
10 years old 😅
Bad luck there Mark, what make was the prop?
Eprops
What caused your prop to delaminate in flight? Have you been foot dragging in the past and had debris hit the prop?
Yes I repaired it over a couple of years ago, but obvs not the best job, although it has been fine for quite some time.
What is your average amount of flight hours between an engine out? you have a lot, but you also have a lot of flight hours. the one and only engine out I have ever had was 500 hours ago when a crankshaft bearing gave up. I had some stator problems but I always solved it before it gave up completely.
I've had 14 engine outs in 650 hours, is that a lot? Feels like it to me.
@markallisonparamotor I think based on your 1 engine/land out per 46 hours rate, I'm about where you're at in that sense lol. First one my fault I changed to a different spark plug wire and didn't grind the frame enough (see southwest airsports Top 80 ignition wire upgrade) and the second one there was a tiny sliver of plastic that got lodged in the main jet with my Thor 202 float carb. With that, I ended up re-launching from the American football field with the choke on, the main jet wasn't all the way clogged so it made power. I was near the rural airport (2,500 ft), someone in an airplane took off to come check on me and saw I had my wing laid out prepping to launch.
@@markallisonparamotor yes that is a lot😉😉
Still haven't got a pole for my sock; any tips? Yours looks legit!
Imagine it’s there. Close your eyes, visualize a sturdy pole, and pretend it’s holding up your sock. Voilà! Problem solved. 🧦
Amazon sell them
Yeah but I get lost in choice easily so I usually go for what other have tested already 😂
@@NorthernFPV jeeez he was for real? i thought he is trolling until i see his edited comment. my bad! 😅
@@Vimmz bro my bad! i thought you are making a naughty joke first 🤣i bought a carbon fiber telescopic fishing net pole. its 8 meter and cost me around 15€.
super light. fits in any car and because its same height as my wing i can see the real wind situation up there. absolute perfect!
my god...again!!! how? 😵💫
It's just what I do. 👀
Lots of practice
