- In the final episode of my 'Bikepacking Alaska' video series, we ride East, cycling through some of Alaska's most spectacular landscapes as we make our way across the border into Canada. Highlights include the Denali Highway and the Top of the World Highway towards Dawson City. With incredible wild camping opportunities and some world class riding, cycling through Alaska was an experience we'll never forget.

Much respect I have driven the Top of The World Highway and it’s no joke .

damn brings back memorys
in 2022 I rode from deadhorse to fairbanks to Denali park to Denali Higway the rest pretty much same route :) I realy loved it
btw fun fact the place Tok.... used the be named Tokio..... they renamed it in the ww2. (some local told me that)
That's a good bit of trivia, Tok was a slightly strange place but I enjoyed the two nights we spent there!
great video
Thanks!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Great video! How much time do you put into filming and editing? Does it limit you in enjoying your trip to the fullest? Do you feel authentically present when filming/editing?
Thanks! I really enjoy filming most of the time so I find it actually adds to my presence rather than taking away, it just adds another element. Editing can be super time consuming and I'm always struggling to catch up when I'm travelling, but it's also super rewarding, so it's worth it. I'm still working on finding the balance, so I'm afraid I don't have all the answers on that one!
Beautiful ride 👌🏻
Thanks 🤗
Can i ask you something mate. How long does it take to put together a video like this? And how do you manage to do it on the road ? Do you buy an internet plan for each country you are in? Thank you.
Making videos definitely takes quite a bit of time, although the more you do it the faster and easier it gets. This one probably took a day and a half of work to put together. I usually buy a local SIM for data, and then just use wifi in cafes or people's homes along the way when I need it. Most of putting together a video is offline anyways though - I use DaVinci Resolve, which is phenomenal, and also completely free, so I'd definitely recommend it!
@@tristanrid thank you Tristan !!
Where did your other companion leave you?
Mathilde went her own way after Fairbanks and we caught back up with her just over the border in Dawson City :)
