Great video series Bradley! Although I was never big with fashion more trendy styles (what’s in) I remember owning this same jacket along with a Flight jacket,Dr. Marten boots, suspenders and plain blue jeans those were my 80’s CBGB Punk-Skinhead days in NYC!
That's the classic uniform for sure!
I bought mine 1966 for $28 which in today's money should be about $279 but now it is about double t overpriced and the one I had as a kid was of much better quality than my newer one.

I have a beige Ralph Lauren Harrington and I've seen Martin Compston wear a really nice Aquascutum Harrington in Line of duty. But for uncompromising class you can never beat the original
Bradley-When I was in high school (mid 60’s) there was a version called a Sir Jac. If you wanted to be cool you had to have one. I remember there was even a JC Penney’s knockoff for about half the price of a Sir Jac.
Nice work on this man, finally got around to checking this out. Editing is great and really works in this format. Love the jacket but ouch on that price point! looking forward to seeing more of the series.

Spot on video....also my favourite timeless jacket...I got the authentic fit, that way I can wear it even more often like some slightly colder days cause it allows layering underneath but still wears super comfortable. Cheers

Fantastic jacket.I do prefer the classic over the archive mainly because the classic has a metal zip which makes it look a bit more premium than the archive which has a plastic zip.

Great video! One thing I noticed, though. James Bond’s jacket was produced by Tom Ford, not Baracuta. If I recall correctly, it was constructed out of a heavy twill fabric (and costs several times the price of a G9). Anyway, the Harrington silhouette will always look cool no matter the brand.

I just found a copy at Savers for 16 bucks.I really like the fit.I had been looking for a waist length jacket which happens to be my favorite style but is rarely seen nowadays
I have 6 of these only the thermal is worth the full retail price. Sadly the cuffs and collar wear out fairly fast with frequent dry cleaning visits. Always look at the official website they do have major sales but common sizes like 40 -42 sell out first. A final note they run slim so original styles like the ones made from the 30s to 90s run more baggy
Will be interesting to see view counts for this style series compared to your other videos; I can’t help but to think over time; these videos will garner a lot more views as they would more broadly appeal to men more than our niche craft (remember, it’s NOT a hobby) of pipe smoking 🤗
I hope so! It's always hard to predict, but you're probably right about it garnering more views over time. The pipe videos tend to do well right when they're uploaded, but then they drop off a lot.
@@stuffandthingsyoutube Just jumping in to say that I found that there seems to be quite a market for men's grooming, hygiene products, and style. It was quite surprising when I looked up tutorials for cutting hair at home.

I found some G9 in 100€ to 170€, how can I know if they are authentic?
For that price, I would assume that they are fake.

I've had three over the last decade, they're quite durable in addition to being stylish. I will never look back!

I take it to the dry cleaner's twice a year.
It's fine machine washed, but it will shrink in the dryer.
