I absolutely adore Monica Calhoun. She is so down to earth, sensational, and delicate. I noticed that every time she says something, Morris always turns and gives her his undivided attention as if everything she says has value to him. I like that. It seems as though they have great chemistry off the screen as well. I also love how they always hold hands in their interviews and how he comforted her when she got choked up.
I love them all but I adore Monica Calhoun and seeing her tear up got me emotional! she's beautiful and so delicate! I pray God continues to bless her richly!
The original Best Man was just spectacular and worried about that the sequel. Well the second one was just as great and just whole another story.

Absolutely loved the movie just as i loved The Best Man. However, the pitiful part about it was why in most black movies theres always a death? Im sure there will be those defending why but it always seem to be the modus operandi.....

Wow! I thought Monica Calhoun was amazing in the Best Man Holiday...She seem to be giving a true testimony towards the end. Not sure what she may be or been going through. I can see the true love Morris and the director has for her as a friend. Does anyone know what may be wrong with Monica Calhoun? Will be in prayer for her
Her son is blind and disabled so its been rough for her and when she says she felt like giving up she probably was referring to her being a single mom taking care of him. Her IG is @monicacalhoun1 u can see her son on there.

The weight loss I think is from the movie. Because she had to look like she had cancer and was sick. But overall I think she's okay now and yes her performance was brilliant ! I hope she gets some type of award b/c she deserves it !!!
Pretty Redbone You are so right! Monica put those other actresses to shame. She really gave a memorable performances. Plus she seems way more down to earth! Morris did too. However, I do feel that Terrance is a good actor and needs more parts that bring out his potential. I just love a true story-line that speaks to real life people. Morris & Monica deserve Oscars. Malcolm better be on his game if he does not include Monica in another best man sequel :-)
Thats exactly what I was saying. Im kinda of mad they let her die in the movie. Monica better come back as a ghost or something lol. I cant see lance with nobody else but mia. N I think Terrance Howard is gonna get his big break in part 3. Since he's getting married to shelby lol im guessing on that one. But morris and monica have sooo much chemistry on and off screen. U can see it in their interviews their either holding hands and looking at each other. They really have a connection. I know morris is married but if he wasn't I would want him to be with monica b/c they compliment each other very well. Also morris has said that him and monica have a connection outside of acting together !!!
