@@nickjackson124 It's without a shot of a doubt sung in full chest voice. You hear how it has an edge and you can hear the intensity of the note as well as her tone booming all the way through it. That edge and that intensity can only be created by the vocal cords vibrating at it's deepest layers, fattening up, fully connected. The other ones has more of a round quality to them and a lighter quality, her full tone isn't heard as much. I have a similar voice to hers and also have the capacity to bring full chest voice very high. I know the qualities of a medium intensity chest voice and a full chest voice on such high notes. The medium intensity one is the one she most often go for as it's easier and not as demanding and that is the one with the round quality. The ease is very audible with it, but the full chest voice takes incredible amounts of energy and support.
@@randall4528She has sung in full chest voice this high before, in her televised Bridge Over Troubled Water performance from 2015 on the first G5 note. If you don't believe me, check out vocal coach Tara Simon's reaction video of that performance, she was the one who made me realise it although I couldn't believe it was possible to sing that high in full chest voice before. But then I learned that it is if done right in a healthy way like Sohyang does it which is with a deep breathing and a great support underneath, using the full body and keeping the vowel more closed. Full chest voice is a very intense sound and you can her the edge in the voice from the vocal fold vibrating at it's deepest layers and how the intensity/volume is much greater when she sings it in full chest voice as opposed to mixing in more air in the sound and having the vocal folds not coming together on those deeper edges fattening up, but thinning out more. The sound does get rounder and more headvoicy in texture when you're singing with less intensity as the vocal folds aren't coming together as much in those deeper edges that makes for a full chest voice or more chest dominant sound. That's the coordination Sohyang is mostly using throughout this compilation clip, but in that spot that I mentioned she is indeed using full chest voice and one can so clearly hear the difference from the other notes, her tone comes out much more and sounds more focused rather than fluffy and round. The intensity is much higher. It's very evident that she gave that note much more energy from the body. You also hear the grit in her voice on that note which is because of the intensity of the note.

The banshee that tried to sing with Sohyang at 2:12 need to pack up and go because that was so embarrassing.
