    Hi Brandon! Thank you for bringing this content to us. This is looking amazing, and the young man is doing fantastic work. I have a quick question but I will be emailing you more soon. But my first question is from the statement you made about double the cost, should I assume if someone is given a quote for a 4 bedroom sand and cement home for 50k that a rammed earth construction will be 100k? I'm just throwing out random figures I have seen on CZcams. I hope to email you soon. Thank you and take care!

      Hi- You’re welcome. I appreciate you commenting and sharing the kind words. With regard to your question- The answer is No. I did not mean that because the wall is twice as thick that the entire house will cost twice as much. First and foremost the price difference only pertains to the walls with is only a marginal cost of the over all project. Much Thanks!

      Yeah but why is the cost so much more than cement/steel when the material can be sourced locally especially if you have land what substantiates the difference in the cost because it's understood to be that the car should be at least a third percent less than cement/steel. @@EcotalkwithBrandon

    Why is there no cement foundation on this construction why were the walls put up before there was even a foundation that's concerning should there not be a foundation and then the walls built on top of the foundation

      @@markweekes8858
      Without a foundation structures prone to all sorts of issues damages concerns you don't build a structure on dirt that can possibly erode from excessive rainfall it doesn't make a difference that they build differently a home should always have a foundation that's basic knowledge

      @@miztri could there be a footing. 3+ft deep that supports the wall? is that ok?

    • @EcotalkwithBrandon

      Hi, @miztri The walls your are viewing are on top of a cement block foundation and the floor slab has also been casted giving the flat level surface that they are now erecting the earthen walls.

      @@EcotalkwithBrandon hey Brandon thanks for the clarity I was a bit concerned just looking at the video it just looks like the structure was built on dirt. Do you yourself build rammed Earth homes Brandon

    How many rooms

    • @EcotalkwithBrandon
      @EcotalkwithBrandon  Před měsícem

      This is two chamber and halls as the call it here in Ghana. Meaning each side as a main room than a bedroom behind it-- he's also made provisions for a bathroom inside.

    The colours are ugly they should just kept it one natural reddish colour , it doesn’t look neat this way
