  • About the webinar:
Presented by Natalie Pride, one of Australia’s leading NF neuropsychologists and Head of NF1 Learning Clinic at Children’s Hospital Westmead.
This webinar focusses on the developmental, cognitive and social-emotional challenges that some children with NF1 face, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to support children with NF1 in their learning and development.
It explores neuro-developmental disorders (NDD) that can be associated with NF1, such as ADHD, autism and learning disorders, providing resources and guidelines on ways to support these children. It aims to provide information to parents and carers on navigating the educational system including accessing support at school.
Lastly, it will touch upon ongoing research in NF1, including studies on sleep and clinical trials of interventions.

About the Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia
The Children’s Tumour Foundation is the only patient advocacy and support service for people impacted by neurofibromatosis (NF) in Australia.
Our vision is a life without limitations for everyone living with NF in Australia.
The NF journey from diagnosis to treatment is challenging and most of what
people will experience is unknown. We provide personalised, accessible
support and resources free of charge to every person impacted by NF, while also advocating for change and raising funds to advance promising research.
