I installed a 87 diablosport performance tune in my 07 nnbs tahoe.
I did perimeters like bumped the idle up 50 rpm and did diablo firm shifts for 1-2 and 2-3.
I’ve been thinking about going back in and bumping the idle up a little bit too. Other than that everything else seems pretty good!

The only regret I have is not waiting for a good deal on a 4 door but I couldn’t pass on the deal I got for mine! Other than that none at all!

Thinking about doing a tune on my 2002 Silverado. As you do your upgrades do you need to get updates on the tuner or does your original tuner cover most updates? Do update cost more?
Really depends on the upgrades. The pre loaded tunes cover most small upgrades but if your going long tubes,cam, etc. it’s probably best to wait and do all your modifications and get a custom tune for them. A custom tune with Diablo is $175 I believe.
Where you able to use it for your e-Fans Yet ? Thinking of changing out to efans as well so i was just wondering if it worked ?
You can change the e-fan settings if the truck came factory with them but if you want to add e-fans you have to call Diablo and have them write a custom tune with e-fans.

Do you know if this tunner could tune out the 02 sensors??
I’m not sure. I think there is an option for 02 sensors but I didn’t click on it. I’ll check tomorrow and see!!

@robertcollier1128 I love mine so far plus you can get 100% custom tunes from Diablosport for somewhere around $175 I think! I’m going to get them to send a custom tune when I do the fan swap!

You would have to call Diablo and have them write you a tune. I think it’s around $175 for a custom tune.

In the process! Swapped to the bigger radiator now I just need the e-fans themselves, hooks the factory harness up, and load the tune!
Does this make the truck go over 100 mph Mine stops at 100
Yes you can turn the speed limiter off. I left mine on though because I have the stock one piece drive shaft and they like to explode at anything over 100 lol

I would say yes! The base tunes are good for a few hps but you can get Diablo to build a custom tune if you have a cam or other upgrades and you can upload it in your driveway super easy!

No anything like long tubes or a cam will have to be a custom written tune from Diablo or another tuner. It can load tunes from other tuners as well I believe!
Does it has for towing
There’s not a specific one for towing but you can adjust the parameters to help towing or get ahold of Diablo and they can make a custom tune for towing!
Did you ever have problems with your radio being plugged in? I heard that if you tune this body style truck and you have aftermarket things plugged in like the radio your ecm stock mode gets deleted and the truck won’t start.
Never had an issue! Runs perfect and does what it should every time!

Can you select auto or manual transmission per se I swaped my truck from an auto to a manual can that thing delete the automatic transmission out of the computer ??
Not that I’m aware of.. Diablo can probably do that with a custom written tune but I think it just tunes what’s already there.

My friend say all the led lights causes it to wail like that
Mines upgraded so I’m thinking that’s why it’s so loud. But I wouldn’t think leds would cause it because they draw less power than halogens.
@@ZPTVChannel that's what i always knew about LEDs but my friend added all LED to the entire truck (cateye)
And it had nothing but problems afterward. I thinking maybe lots of wiring issues with his truck .. Because I've added lots of LEDs inside and out, but all i have problem with now is that whiny alternator.
@@kozmicflush980 hmmm I might do some digging to find out more but like I said I really don’t see leds causing any issues just by themselves.
@@ZPTVChannel or, it could been his computer went out? He ended up selling the truck. Never could find out what went wrong with it.
Let me know what you find out, if you ever read into this. I'm either super unlucky with each alternators, or it's something more to it.

No, they didn’t start that until 2007.5 (the newer body styles)
You can make own with HP Tunes. I did, I installed a standalone widenand 02 sensor and it was 13.2 AFR stock I bought it to 15 AFR below 2000 RPMs and 16 AFR at idle And it's actually snapper. It got about 13mpg now I get 16. I went till it started losing power one summer and got near 20mpg.

@dallasdelano8235 yea when I tuned the Tahoe it had almost a full tank of 87 and it felt a little off lol once I ran that out and put 93 in it it felt a lot better!
@@ZPTVChannel does it also have a really low idle when you put in gear? I was thinking it was going to stall but idk
@@dallasdelano8235 I bumped my idle up about 100 rpm. It seemed a little low like you said so I went back in and bumped it up.

These trucks don’t have AFM they didn’t start AFM until the nnbs (07.5+)
