Thanks Lori!
Megan this is just beautiful! I love all the room to write and add more. Stunning work! Thanks for the kind words, too. ;)
Thanks so much Stephanie!
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the spine.

Just beautiful! TFS Hugs!
New to your channel. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work. It's so beautiful and inspiring!
Thanks so much for your kind words Kathy! Glad you are enjoying it!
New stubbier here. Such a beautiful journal! I really like the tutorial videos, too.
Thank you so much Lisa!
Saw one of your videos on Pinterest and had to find you on CZcams. Love the kit you showed n Pinterest.
So glad you found me here! Welcome!
Im a new subbie. This is a beautiful journal!
Thank you!
The printables are beautiful, but doesn't it bother you that many of the pages with writing on them, and at least two of the pages with full-size flower images, are upside down? That would drive me crazy every time I looked at it.
Nope! I made it that way because I liked the variety. You can assemble the printables however you like and as a bonus many of the pages are collage style so there is no real right side so to speak. I really enjoy the creative chaos of junk journaling and collage though. I understand the style is definitely not for everyone!
I totally agree with this. No way could I make a journal with upside down pages. I have accidently put in a page or two upside down in a few of my signatures in a journal I made. So this is a tip here. I went back reprinted the page, then glued it on top of the upside down page so I wouldn't have to tear the whole signature block out. LOL
I am SO GLAD I found your page! Do you print the printables on a tan colored paper or is that just how they print on white paper?
Oh yes wanted to ask where do you get those awesome clips you use
Those have been in my crafting stash awhile, but I am pretty sure I purchased them at Michaels.
Love, love, love this. I also love My Porch Prints printable. The quality is amazing. What paper/ card stock do you use to print your pages on, if you don’t mind me asking? The quality looks awesome.
Thanks so much! It's a mix of Neenah and Recollections card stock in this journal.
@@CompassInk This is so super gorgeous! ♥ What weight and finish is the paper/cardstock you use? And have you printed double-sided or are the pages stuck together? It's so beautifully made! xxx
@@nicolastone421 It's a mix but most of the printed pages are on 65lb/176gsm cream cardstock. I use the cream to help give it a more "vintage" look since I don't coffee/tea dye. I printed double sided. I have a Canon Pixma printer that I've custom set the coloring on too, so that helps. But My Porch Prints also just has really gorgeous kits!
Can you direct me to where I can buy the large envelope that has been matched up so perfectly on the back flap - can't seem to find it. Also what color are the blank green pages? Beautiful color!!
Hi Sue, the large envelope is part of the My Porch Prints Botanical Wildflowers kit: www.etsy.com/listing/690450998/botanical-wildflowers-junk-journal-kit The blank green pages were from a multi-color neutral palette paper pack from Neenah Paper. I'll see if I can find the name but I suspect it might be discontinued as I can't seem to find it anywhere. They used to carry at Staples though if you're in the States.
Loved the flip through! What is the hard cover made of?
Chipboard with a book cloth cover.
@@CompassInk Thank you. What is the difference between book cloth and regular cloth fabric, and where can one fine it?
@@4kiitieslady Book cloth typically has a lining that makes it sturdier and helps keep the glue from seeping through like it might with regular fabric. We have a tutorial on how we make it here: czcams.com/video/G3sVkwD3y3M/video.html but you can also buy it at book supply retailers and art supply shops!
Absolutely beautiful! Are those non printed colored pages card stock as well or is it a paper? I love those muted greenish colors! Thank you?
Yes. Those muted greenish colors are card stock from one of Neenah's paper lines. They used to be available at Staple's in the US but I haven't been able to find them in ages. Afraid they might be discontinued! :(
@@CompassInk isn’t that just the way it is? If I ever find something I like they quit making it! 😂 well, thank you for responding to me. 😊
@@Usdukes Yup, nowadays when you find something you really like, buy 2 of them. Things get discontinued at an alarming rate :-(
how is it a junk journal when you use items specifically bought for the purpose of journaling..
The beauty of junk journaling is that it is whatever you want it to be!
@@CompassInk well I guess that's true lol
