This shows you have a good talent because if I, or somebody else with less control, were bobbing and swaying the club it’s going to sometimes screw up my shot. A comfortable smooth backswing is supposed to make this easier… since you can find your consistent high point and follow through straight all the time… then yeah, of course it doesn’t matter that much!

You are a scratch golfer, you have your top position ingrained so bad backswings don’t hurt you. A newer golfer needs the consistent backswing to find that top position. Also you really need to see the dispersions to tell how those set ups affect things, hitting into a net 5 feet in front of you doesn’t show us any visual information
