Can u post an engine flush tutorial with salt away please

I will be taking my pontoon boat up the Neuse River in NC and that is really brackish water. I will be using a public boat launch to both launch and recover. There is no water faucet to hook a hose up to for at minimum an initial flushing with just plain no salt water. My thought is to have a couple gallons of mixed salt away and water and with a funnel get it down the two flush ports I have on my Suzuki 150. Once I complete the 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive home, I will go through the full de-salinization process properly.
What are your thoughts on my plan??

If you're only 3-4 hours from home, there's no reason to flush your engine immediately. We'd recommend getting home and flushing it with water and rining it down with the salt away. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the video Tim - I was just going to use it for the engine wash (not on the helicopter, on my RIB) but this makes sense, thanks . . . enjoy those blue skies.

Great video I have an aluminum boat over on the west coast and I use a foam cannon to apply the salt away, it foams up really well would you suggest still just leaving the foam on and not rinsing off, will the salt away dry off itself without leaving salt on?

Hi Joe, glad you enjoyed the video! You can leave the salt away on, but don't leave it on too heavy!

If you were to wash your boat with some cleaner, would you do it before using SaltAway or after?

Hey guys, I'd be looking at the ingredients before spraying that into the water ways. That product has a few nasties that are not good for the enviroment.

Thanks for taking a look at our video, Samuel! Salt-Away is a non-hazardous, non-toxic, biodegradable and green product! We would not recommend using anything that would harm the environment.

It is never necessary to use an expensive product like this just to wash down the boat. You can use fresh water for that. It is, however an excellent product for flushing, the engine, whether you have an outboard or an inboard and outboard.

Sometimes your boat is covered in salt and doesn't need to be washed with a brush or mitt. What's the problem with salt away?

For this demonstration I'm going to show you how to use the product while this nitwit on the other vessel decides to come out of nowhere in this entire canal and run into the side of our boat 2:23
