    We appreciate the shout out :) Quick note - That white fuzz actually isn't mold, its called "flowers of kefir" You can google that if you want to learn about it more. Generally harmless but it doesn't taste the best. Your kefir looks amazing by the way. Keep up the good work!

    I've been making it for over 5 years now, started, as we had tried everything for my sons psoriasis. I've given so many grains away to friends and they have all seen the benefit

    If you want your kefir to be more spoonable add chia seeds after fermentation and put in the fridge.

    Hellooooo Heather, Levi & Kid’s 🥰 it’s been awhile I haven’t been on CZcams I’ve been busy😀 But I have to say my Brother in Law makes this all the time & drinks it everyday. I tried it but It didn’t agree with me. 😳 Today He actually asked me to add milk to it everyday while he’s in Florida for the week 😁

    I've been having a hard time finding unflavored / unsweetened Kefir locally so this is great! I also share Kefir with my dog which helps him too. Thank you for all of the tips on how to make this at home!

    Milk kefir is my favorite ferment hands down! I used to make it with goats milk too but now I only have access to raw cows milk. Thank you for sharing with the collab! Your knowledge is so inspiring!

    You’re grains look very healthy!! I’ve been making Kefir for about 6 weeks. I am LOVING it! I enjoy working with the grains, straining them and making more. Trying to find that sweet spot of thickness as I find mine to be thinner than I’d like and still need to gone on and try a second ferment with fruit.

      It never occurred to me to do the second ferment until I saw my sister in law do it! I've done second ferments with kombucha and Jun so it makes sense but it still never occurred to me! Haha

    I love milk Kefir. I have been making & drinking it for almost a year now. It's a drinkable yogurt. I just use regular whole milk. I have several grains frozen for future use or to share.

    Thank you so much for this video. I have been wanting to make kefir with my goats milk but everything I had read said it was hard to do with raw milk. I will be ordering my grains, my husband loves a drinkable “yogurt”.

      The grass we ordered had no issues getting established with raw milk! Originally they were formed using raw milk so it makes sense!

    I love Kefir and have not thought of making it myself. In our area, after COVID and supply chain issues, the stores never stocked my favorite Kefir product. So, now, I can make my own! Thank you. I enjoyed watching.
