Solo excellent. Yes, very much enjoying the flight training videos. Always wanted to learn to fly but have a visual impairment. Thanks for being there for me Angel.
Oh man, then it makes it much more worth it to post these videos so i can bring you with me🤘🏼🤘🏼
Keep flying and make every landing safely 🤘🏻😎
Thanks Ryan! 😎🤘🏼
You're doing great man! Make sure you bring/wear a T-shirt when you do your first solo so your instructor can cut your shirt tail off! Don't feel pressured to record your first solo if you're not comfortable with it - focus on your flying without the distraction of thinking about recording it. You'll do fine!
Thank you!
You are brave. I could never do that. There`s too much to know and remember.
Haha thanks! Luckily the checklists help remember some stuff!
love the mix of cars & airplanes!
Hell yeah!
Love the new camera angles! Great work, my friend! Rinse, repeat.. rince, repeat.. rince, repeat.. onward to the Solo!
This is great......enjoying the camera angles.
You got this.
Thanks Gary!!
Good call on delaying the flaps when you are far out-
Thanks!
good Job Angel - fly the airplane.
Wind: calm👍
👍🏻👍🏻
Lol awesome job angel. My palms did not sweat this time. Looking forward to that solo flight.
Lol mine still were sweating lol😂
Good job with airplane control. Just some tweeks about common errors. The reason you are a bit left of centerline on takeoff and that you touchdown a bit left of centerline is that you are lining up with the center of the nose or prop. The prop is at a slight angle to your right. Put the centerline exactly between your legs and it will appear to be between the instructor's legs as well and the nose wheel will be exactly on the centerline. It is optical, but it works for longitudinal alignment. On short final you are using a bit of aileron to adjust alignment with the centerline. Use dynamic proactive rudder only to bracket the centerline between your legs same as the tennis player or linebacker shifts weight from foot to foot before service or snap. We may be moving the nose slightly (bracketing with rudder walk) wrong but dynamically and we are already moving when gust or sheer or jet vortices tries to drop a wing. We do not want to turn, thus no need to bank, thus no aileron with adverse yaw. Notice the nose goes the wrong way initially. Use correct rudder yaw to bracted the centerline between your legs with no adverse (incorrect) yaw from aileron use. Instructor, jam thumb under yoke to prevent steering wheel use. We have too much auto muscle memory.
Good job instructor with acceleration in low ground effect until Vx or Vy as appropriate. Now think about when Vx or Vy is appropriate. With thousands of runway still ahead? Why give up free ground effect energy to greatly increase acceleration to cruise airspeed on long runways, especially at high DA where the extra energy may be needed? Cruise climb after acceleration to cruise airspeed level in low ground effect (six inches for crop dusters) is appropriate if runway is available. And we pitch to just over the obstruction, not well over the obstruction. Airspeed, and not altitude, is life during maneuvering flight. Both crop dusting and pattern work are maneuvering flight. Also nearly all mountain flying in small airplanes is maneuvering flight.
Rookie, you are doing well. The tweaks are something to work on for exactitude, which helps with the fluidity of the tactical situations that come about. Iterations rather than just repetitions.
Doing great Angel. Looks like you’re getting the hang of it.
Getting there!
Be proud
Great job Angel! Love the aviation videos.
Holy cow! Solo next, great going man! How long before you're no longer Rookie Pilot? Next build a flying car?!
Good Job! Looking forward to the solo Captain Foodcake! Get yer wings!
My first solo was in a glider when I was 14 years old :)
Glider! Thats awesome, ive always wanted to try that!
It's an easy transition@@rookie__pilot
Nice that you added an overlay there. I haven't used a lot of overlays in my video's as when you mount the GoPro upside down, it tends to mess with the altimeter display. Have downloaded some phone GPS logger software though, I'll be trying that out over the summer to see what the results are like. Great video, glad you're posting these. 👍
Thank you! I thought it might be a bit more immersive!
Tis indeed! Nice way to let people know what's going on around you while you're flying. Good stuff!@@rookie__pilot
Going solo? Woot! That's great!
Can’t wait to see you solo. Congrats dude.
Thanks Tony! We gotta do a RV7 video sometime!
@@rookie__pilot I’ll give you a holler next time I fly to TUC.
Sweet! Looking forward to the solo flight! Make a pit stop here in LA. LOL
Good job on the touch and go’s.
Here’s hoping for a good first solo flight.
I’ve always dreamed of learning to fly, but I’ll just have to do my best Harry Chapin impression.
Good job! keep at it!
Thanks!!
Congratulations Angel Fruit cake! Awsome video! Loved your video. Thanks, Good Luck!
looking forward to the solo - keep up the good work!
Keep practicing! 🤠
Looking good!
Nice 👍🏼👍🏼great job
Thanks again for sharing, I may take lessons yet.
👊👍

😏🤘🏼👍🏻✌🏼
What was something that surprised you with how hard it was to get right?
How different it feels with a bigger aircraft, i used to fly c150s which are 2 seaters and a lot smaller. So once the power is out on this one it drops like a rock 😂
are you doing for fun or are you training for a job?
