Bullying has been a problem for decades, and I think the issue is lack of accountability. Hold the kids accountable and hold the school authorities accountable with CONSEQUENCES. Then, and only then, will anything ever improve. No one ever cares about consequences unless they start to suffer themselves.

    • @calvinhobbes6118
      @calvinhobbes6118 Před 27 dny

Its a failure of parenting, specifically a lack of discipline. Then you add in public schools who dont put students first.
The School Board and its agenda comes first. The Teacher Union and teacher come before the students. Then Administrators are way overpaid. Kids cannot defend themselves from bullies or they get punished.
Its a mess, a mess run by Marxists.

Youre an adult now. Stop putting up with it.
My son was bullied too, but not anymore because hes grown now and will not remain where he is abused. File a suit and make it stop, or move on.
You deserve better than to be abused all your life!
My son had an annoying personality that he matured and grew out of. Its the only explanation for why he was bullied everywhere he went. Honestly, seek counselling to find out what it is about you that attracts bully behavior, then make adaptations so you wont be a victim anymore.
I really feel for you because you are probably lovely, but there are a lot of assholes looking for targets. Since you cant force an asshole to not be an asshole, learn to modify yourself to not be a target, or go somewhere that has less or no assholes.

My son was bullied from 2 nd grade to 6th, when they were called out by the teacher. The school was notified by me with video evidence at the beginning of 4th grade. There was one ringleader, and no one wanted to become a target, so no one said anything. The principal only said that it was illegal to film my son on the playground after school and he should leave school promptly. She went on to say that the school was not responsible for anything after the school day was over. I said that no one would believe me if I didn't have video evidence. I told them that this was all the evidence I could obtain, but the bullying went on all day where I could not see it. Worse yet, this was a Christian school. We paid thousands to send him there. He is 27 now. He is paranoid and does not trust anyone in authority. Even when he reported bullying on the playground, the teacher did and said nothing. He has no friends even now. He went to public school for grades 10-12. He doesn't trust anyone and has never had a date. I cry for him. But I was in a bad place during these years and failed to save him.

Sending prayers. The sad part is, chances are, that some of his classmates that attended his funeral are the ones who did it or know who it was that did the bullying. I understand from what I’ve read that the kid was ganged up on and the parents had told the school about the problem 20 times and got no response. Then, the school superintendent tries saying that nothing was reported to him, which was probably a lie. Are you telling me that after reporting the incident 20 times that the superintendent never got a report about the incident??? I’m sure that the superintendent would get word of THE SAME PARENTS SHOWING UP 20 TIMES IN THE SAME SCHOOL BUILDING FOR ANY REASON. The parents know who they talked to so they should go back to those people and then go from there and find out why they didn’t do anything. No parent would fabricate a lie about who they talked to so, if the people who they talked to deny that something was reported to them about the bullying, then you know that they’re lying. Schools turn a blind eye to that stuff. It’s no different here in Pittsburgh. Bullies gang up on people that they know that they can’t beat one on one. What a bunch of cowards. I preach learning boxing for self defense to help deal with gangs. The parents can’t rely on the school system because of the degenerates that work there.

We pulled our son out when the school refused to stop the problem.
Ultimately, the buck stops with the victim’s parent. You MUST advocate for your child. Its your job and nobody else will do it.

These bullies parents need to be held accountable for this. Children learn what they live at home. Children need discipline at home, “Spare The Rod - Spoil The Child” does not work!!

My prayers and thoughts along with everyone else's are being lifted up to God for his parents, and against bullying. This should NOT go unpunished! The ones who did this to him know who they are. The students who herd and witnessed the abuse, should be courageous and turn them in. The parents of the bullies should be held responsible for their kids actions, and for not teaching their children morals. This is parents job it starts at home. This is an OUTRAGE!!

I'd ask the school once to handle it. Then I would handle if they didn't.

Thats what i had to do for my son. I dont understand how this boy’s father complained 20 times and still didnt fix the problem.
We pulled our boy out of the school because the school refused to do anything. Why complain 20 times? Fix it!!

Those children who are bullies are more likely being mistreated at home . So they take it out on another person

It’s ridiculous. Let the good kids stand up against the bullies Let the kids fight it out at school. That’s the only way it’s gonna stop.

The children are seeing all the bullying in our country. Look how people treat each other even in comments on social media, let alone in public and in Congress. The highest politicians in our country are bullies are proud of it. It disgusts me that we as a whole continue to support and engage in the behavior. There’s simply no more civility.
