- 🔰Operation Battleaxe was a British Army offensive during the Second World War to raise the Siege of Tobruk and re-capture eastern Cyrenaica from German and Italian forces. It was the first time during the war that a significant German force fought on the defensive.

Quite opposed to the top comment. This map is as "RedDotBlackSquare" would say, ugly. Too simplistic and way too many repeating textures. Plus the netting? I don't mind it being set to the winter "texmod" but at least add colour to it to make it fit the arid desert. Other than that, fantastic battle.
I will keep it mind.

@@RickGamer123 What people expect is relative sure, but the standard should be increased - if not for the viewership and awe.
I will give him credit though, the north African terrain is pretty hard to make interesting considering it is mostly arid desert with nothing visually appealing. That's not including the fact that there is no assets that are really fitting for Ostfront as the game and mods really just focus on primarily Eastern or Western Europe.
@@PixzL. I agree about the desert. Difficult to make it interesting.! As a creator i know how much time we spend trying to make videos enjoyable to watch. Watch some of his map making videos. The amount of effort that goes into them is impressive.!
