Even if it's just a rehearsal, I think this is the best live performance of Billie Jean vocally, even better than Pensacola 88.
IMO his best live performance of Billie Jean was the one on Wembley in 1988. It really depends on what you are "looking" for 🤣. I'm a sucker for the original line in "People always told MEEE" with the high note, which he hits flawlessly in the Wembley performance. His overall energy is also INCREDIBLE in the Bad Tour and vocals are CRISP & almost pitch perfect, so I don't know what more you could wish for 😁

One of the strongest Billie Jean Versions ever. The Bass, Drums, his voice and rythm was on point. Happy that he played around with it over the years but always kept the concept.

Bush, Michael Bush the costume designer. He does actually say Bruce in the extended studio vocal of Billie Jean referring to Bruce Swedien
I wish he was able to sing more live. Most of his live performances were lip synced to the recording because he couldn't sing live due to running out of breath with all the dancing. There are only a very few times he actually sang the song live. He sounds amazing and had a vibrato like none other.
He did in many of the dangerous concerts but yes it is impossible to dance at the level MJ did and sing at the sing at the same time. MJ also damaged his vocal cords by performing so many concerts at the Bad Tour but his voice always remained strong and beautiful the King of Pop forever
@@fabianboesch96 I agree. I always wished blanket would have gotten into music like his dad. There will never be another like Michael Joseph Jackson. Here everyone talked bad about him and made up lies and i always felt so bad. When i was a child it was my dream to go to neverland and meet michal.
He did all of that in his youth. I watched his Triumph, Victory, and Bad tours, and he was at his absolute peak vocally while executing complex dance moves. However, by the time the Dangerous and History Eras came, his voice was shot. He could still sing, but he couldn't do it well while dancing at such an intense pace. Nothing lasts forever. Not even for the King of Pop.
