- Season 3 of Modern Warfare III is coming next week and today, I wanted to go through the massive amount of content we're going to be seeing for multiplayer including SIX 6v6 maps, new modes, new weapons, new vests/gear, and much more! What are your thoughts on the Season 3 content in MWIII so far?

props to sledge honestly. Game is far from perfect but at least we’re getting content
In MP. Zombies is absolutely starving
@@Rich-in6dsZombies underperformed
Yea Zombies is usually more of a Treyarch thing so I don’t really blame them
MP is good. Look im not happy wiht fake, futuristic guns from AW coming into an MW game or the smoking weed/illegal drug event. that said, I cannot overlook six 6v6 maps - that's insane and we should all be happy.
@@fiend2societydue to the lack of support
5:45 gunslinger vest gonna go crazy with dual deagles
This was my exact thought as well lol. Just something about it. The GS-Magna actually has one of the best TTKs in the game up close too
Dual Deagles with the SBMM in this game ? good luck
@@emwolsunfortunately couldnt hit the broadside of a cargo ship in akimbo
@@Treyski4410 bro hasn’t used the GS magna that kills faster than every smg except the swarm
@@peabrain6872 not akimbo, just single. It kills faster than every smg except the swarm
Bro, the patriot Kit for the M16 is exactly what ive been wanting since Mw2 😭
A full auto rifle with the m16 sights, im so happy
M4 w/ M16 handguard just doesn't hit right without the signature carrying handle, so glad we're finally getting a proper full-auto version.
Now if only they add the M16A1 triangular handguard as an option then my life would be completed 😭
@@CamperN00b47 ONG BRO!! I could die happy
So pretty much the pack a punch m16. If you play zombies, some of these conversion kits come from zombies. So it isn't actually "new". Just a feature added to MP from Zombies.
@oscarfunez3806 still, An automatic M16 in Mp is what Ive been looking to recreate with the M4 for a while, never getting that desired result thanks to the missing carrying handle. So, Its pretty neat to finally get that satisfaction. It may not be "new" but Its Something Ive been wanting, PLUS, It could compete with Mw3 Ar's
@JersaJuega94 not saying it's a bad thing. I find it to be nice they are mix-matching from zombies and MP. I have been wondering if they will ad a auto burst smg or rifle. Some burst weapons become auto bursts, doubled burst, or full auto like the m16
Funny that the AMR-9 kit literally turns it into the AW AMR9.
That's exactly what they intended
Hell yeah
I was disappointed when it wasn’t a 5 round burst at launch
@@emwols Are you rejoiced now, my brother?
Yeah and the gun already looks similar. Very cool
remember MW2 season 1 with only one “new” 6v6 map at launch
Season 2 with the museum map
THAT WAS ROUGH
That was a result of activision's meddling. Season 1 of MWII was supposed to feature MW2 remakes, but they were told that those remakes will be Year 2 content then activision blindsided them again with MWIII
actually the “new” map (Valderas Museum) didn’t even come out at launch, it came in SEASON 2 (correct me if im wrong tho) because i remember Season 1 was literally only Shoothouse & Shipment. that’s it. Shoothouse S1 launch, Shipment S1 reloaded
it was in the beta but got removed at launch
@@lifeisshrt7929
The way they're describing the BAL is how all variants worked, slow start and then increased after the first four shots or so. The obsidian steed was just increased damage I think, maybe slower fire rate as well
It had better damage, and slightly faster ADS speed, and slightly worse recoil, hip fire, and fire rate. I remember it vividly because it was my first elite variant. I love that thing
@@DWarrior619 I never got any of the BAL elite weapons, but I did end up getting the Insanity which was amazing
@@DWarrior619it had better fire rate and the first 6 rounds shot faster instead of the first 3
@@DWarrior619 didn't play AW online much because it was near the end of it's updates and such when I got internet but I only remember one variant's name; meat and potatoes XMGs 😂
@@zenkoz3158 dude, the XMG was, by far and away, my favorite thing to use. So much fun
For the Mine Mode, it said in the blogpost that enemies that you and your allies kill will only drop mines that trigger against enemies
Looks like anyone who doesn’t have the rgl interstellar is gonna 110% have that done
@@jacksonwagner992 true, hadn't thought about that. also the stormender. I've been reluctant from doing those cuz ppl rarely use equipment. ill probably complete both challenges in one match
@@UBAT128 Stormender is piss easy, go GW/Invasion and just camp in spawn for UAVs/CUAVs.
@CamperN00b47 yh it is except for the first camo. You have to destroy equipment. Not a lot of people run setups with equipment like mines or claymores so that part is hard. Everything after that is ez
@@UBAT128 Oh I thought it counts all equipments? At least it did for me, because I just slapped on Engineer Vest, went shooting at every single thing thrown on ground: mines, claymores, even trophy systems & ammo boxes counted and it was done for me in like 2 GW matches.
SHG will definitely add a blunderbuss to the game eventually… they always do
It’s not a Sledgehammer game without the Blunderbuss
oh god i hope they do
It Was so fun to use in AW
Props to sledgehammer, but props to you too Ace. You fought for this! Always appreciate you speaking on behalf of the community
Glad to see that we're getting mw2 weapon kits this time round, my hope is that the patch notes might include some tuning for the mw2 weapons that don't get kits to balance them a bit more with the mw3 weapons.
One can hope. I have some guns I still love and would love to bring back into secondary classes. The ISO-9 in close quarters is still fairly decent, but you gotta make sure you have the 50 round drum or the recoil might bite you in the ass and force a reload over only one kill. Or make it so that your last shot in the mag is one shot short of a kill. So it's... A *Little* tricky to use. But the reload is at least better than the fennec, which feels practically useless for more than one kill even with the 50 round drum on top of the reload speed. I thought due to it's extremely low TTK previously it'd still be viable, but nope! It doesn't even seem to have mobility advantage anymore.
I just wish they gave aftermarket part conversion kits only to guns that dont have one already. The holger 556 and now the amr 9 have two.
Amr9 is gonna get 3, they are releasing the stock mod that goes on the mcw for it as well
They're putting aftermarket parts on some MW2 weapons, I'm really excited to finally have a full auto m16 personally
@@CoolAndrew89Apparently it could be full auto already in Zombies if you PAPed it, but hey it’s in MP now
@@randomnobody2194 I mean specific conversion kits only that specific gun has
AMR9 is the goat imo, happy to see more for it.
I can imagine they are looking at the numbers and see that GW is most likely a fraction of a fraction of players in the game. Ofc doesn't excuse ignoring it but I can see why they would focus on more 6v6 maps instead of a single GW map that most people wont even see
Well it’s not gotten anything since launch so it’s gonna gradually decline overall
they're neglecting ground war and gunfight as well. plus having an event for smoking weed is really bad. and adding futuristic, fake guns from aw into an mw game is not okay.
that said, i can't overlook how insane adding six 6v6 maps is for just one season. so i'm happy overall.
@@bobdarrick2628this game clearly wasn't mil-sim when the game launched, so I see no problem with that
@@TheACTIONZ yeah it wasn't but it's a MW game
@@bobdarrick2628Imagine thinking weed is really bad in 2024. Also love that you left a comment saying MWIII looked bad and not to buy it and here you are having clearly bought the game.
Can’t wait to try these Aftermarket part
Especially the M16 one !
I feel bad for the Ground War, Gunfight, and Zombies fans who are getting no love, but as someone who primarily plays for the standard 6v6 MP, this season looks incredible.
I love ground war, but man it is so freaking stale right now.
I have to agree, me a vivid zombies player, is far from happy . Fix zombies ! Multiplayer is awesome though this year 🎉
I only play gunfight and zombies and can confirm I feel neglected
same, i’d play ground war more if they added more maps to it. all they have to do is add some MW2 ground war maps or MW19 maps
and don’t forget “War” as well
loving the sound of this escort game mode. I was one of the strange ones I suppose that religiously played safeguard on BO4. one of my fav game modes.
Getting one of the biggest content drops we’ve ever seen in ANY CoD game, and yet I know there are people who are STILL going to insist this game is dead
That aside, that Gunslinger vest sounds like it’s gonna prove ABSURDLY fun to use
The only reason the game isn't dead is because there is an army of 12 year olds who love playing Warzone because they didn't grow up in the glory days of AAA gaming where new CoDs and other titles were actually something to look forward to. I went to the midnight release of OG MW2 because CoD4 and WaW were amazing games and I KNEW MW2 was going to be even better (and it was, though not without flaws). Long passed are the days of complete, relatively bug-free, consumer friendly AAA titles. Now it's just a checklist of things to purchase in the hopes of salvaging a singular ounce of fun: $70 for the base game, $10 for the battlepass, and possibly $30+ in the store if you want ANY of the "cool" cosmetics. Great so spend $110 minimum if you want any of the cool stuff just so you can play a half-assed multiplayer game that was designed to entice you into buying the latest and greatest. Ooops! What a coincidence that every time a new gun is released in the $10 battlepass, it ends up being super strong! Surely they aren't trying to entice people to pay $10 every fucking season -_- I hate what has become of such beloved franchises.
@@Doombot2point0 If you buy the pass once and complete it, you have enough points to turn around and buy the next without a penny. Outside of making a mistake on point calculations for the overflow I had to buy a cosmetic pack, I haven't payed a single cent for the basic battle pass since MW2019.
@@Meravokas Sure, but that requires you play the game very frequently, which is the point of this design. If you hop on to play with some buddies on the weekends or whatever, no chance you're going to complete the battlepass. So you're stuck with random leftover CoD points, which in turn, is designed to entice you into buying CoD points so you can spend the leftover points on something in the store, which IN TURN, probably leaves you with leftover CoD points so the cycle continues. It's all about $$$. They are a business of course, so money is everything, but this modern level of greed is so egregious that it's warping game design to the point where making a fun, enjoyable, relatively bug-free game is damn near bottom of the list in terms of priorities. Even all of that aside, that doesn't excuse shitty live service practices. Fortnite gets a "pass" because it's legitimately free to play and they actually deliver on the live service promise of...ya know...a live service. They constantly add new maps, game modes, features etc etc. CoD? They ask $70 MINIMUM for the base game, $10 for the battlepass, and as mentioned, cosmetics in the store can easily go for $20-$30 which is ridiculous. The whole idea of live service was to allow for much lower barrier to entry for a game, ideally free to play, while maintining the same level of quality AND still making the studio/publishers money from optional cosmetic sales. What Activision is doing with CoD and it's other barren franchises (Overwatch, Diablo etc...) is simply disgusting and very anti-consumer. You get a much less polished, less fun, and less supported core game while paying MORE for it.
I'm actually pretty excited to play around with that Gunslinger Vest. That's a great amount of stuff and I'm happy that MW2 guns are going to start getting aftermarket parts too.
The amount of excitement in your voice is incredible.. keep up that energy 😎
SHG could have had the best CoD ever on their hands if it weren’t for the EOMM. They are absolutely killing it content wise. Haven’t felt bored even once playing this game
It makes sense if you think about it. They had all of the MW2 maps ready to go for like 4 years for the remastered game that never came. That means that SHG had all that time to make standard maps.
@@P4brotagonist yes, but also not just the maps, the aftermarket parts are very fun and keep me coming back each week as well. We’ve never seen what is essentially a new weapon or weapon gimmick like this so frequently. Brings so much variety to the game outside of what extra maps could ever do as well. I personally don’t have fun sweating all the time. I just like having fun, and the aftermarket parts are fun. The new gunslinger vest looks like it could be incredibly fun as well
Agreed. Been loving the amount of weekly events and new aftermarket part drops. Not a single bad season yet. Gimmicks like the double barrel holger keep the game interesting to play
something like nondisbanding lobbies is the only win-win fix for it
Sadly it's not something that sledgehammer can do about it. And even if they can they'd just keep it in there, because of money. There's a reason why there's still eomm
Love to see it and love how they implement the AW guns without making them feel out of place like the EM1 laser.
This MP year has been fantastic so far, and all I could really ask for is the return of Specialist perks at this point and some streak buffs.
This is great! Just imagine how many more things they'll break with this amount of content when it goes live!
Lots of content, im actually satisfied on how much they have worked on.
Also like that some of the zombies' features are added to MP. The M16 in zombies whne PAP becomes a full auto rifle. Some burst smgs become full auto bursts or have doubled burst rates. Its nice they are looking into mix-matching zombie and MP features.
Everytime I get bored they give me something to look forward too. I appreciate the effort lol
Escort is basically Safeguard from bo3 & Payload from Warzone 1 so im definitely excited for it to return
That’s what I was thinking!
Played Safeguard a lot in BO3.... just need some gravity spikes haha
@@GluttonyIsMySin bro i hated you guys i remember raging so hard when my team almost delivered the robot to the enemy base just to get continuously gravity spiked😭
i was more of a HIVE/Sparrow/War machine type of guy when attacking the robot so at least MW3 has the explosive crossbow and the RGL-80 to replace the last 2😭 but nah i fucking miss bo3 tho i had alot of good times on there
@lifeisshrt7929 yeah it was great, but then again, I enjoy pretty much every CoD I play.
I loved the weapons from AW love to see the jak Atlas kit and the Moris sniper with its creative conversion that makes it stand out!
not expected but appreciated the Ground War shout out. Def my main mode and sad to see theres only 3 maps:/
Ahhh here it is. I been waitin on your vid.
This is great dude, so much content
reinforced boots would be a top tier pick on small maps like shipment. the benefits of the ninja vest and covert sneakers don't mean anything on those maps and stuns, flashes and other movement reduction effects get spammed a lot.
Seems pretty awesome, will definitely be using the gunslinger vest.
That one map with the pool looks really cool. I’m kinda restarted so I like when maps have bright colors
The bal27 behaved like that with each version jjst the steed reduced the intial fire rate more. And also the amr9 AMP is actually the advanced warfare AMR9. And tbh only thing i dont like the sounds of is that equipment vest, i think they should block the gear slot so yes u can spam nades and tacticals but u cant resist them.
This season sounds so fun, especially those aftermarket parts
Haven’t played mwIII since second month of launch and I haven’t been happier. Just here to support your channel ❤
Same lol
Maybe I’m insane, but I could’ve sworn that the Bruen had an aftermarket kit at the release of MW3. I remember it boosting the fire rate and decreasing the base damage while also shortening the barrel and the stock. I might be getting it mixed up with Pulyemot, but I have such a vivid picture of the Bruen with the aftermarket section available in my head
I'm SOOO very PLEASANTLY surprised to see
so much 6v6 MP content !!
THANKS SLEDGE !!
They are 100% watching your videos. No one would have thought of a dang charged sniper. That came straight from you, weeks ago.
Overall a good season despite the lack of zombies and ground war content. It’s good to see them finally focus on MP this year but I wish they would at least just port over old ground war maps. I wouldn’t mind going back to the MW’19 maps with the new movement and weapons that we have now
Ground war is such a forgotten child. They should bring all ground war maps since mw19 into mw3, and any future game that has ground war. Promenade can stay in mw19 though
The first one,6 star is litterally raid from bo2...look at the layout, it's identical in every single way lmao
It is simular and i kinda like it already
Well done SHG this is a TON of stuff for MP
I’m so glad we’re not getting any tiny maps and they’ve made up for the lacklustre first two seasons
I joked to myself that they added Estate, but now seeing a top-down look at 6 Star.... yea that's Estate
Those aftermarket parts are looking pretty interesting, probably what I'm looking forward to the most so far. Also means I gotta get some of those guns leveled up.
That Gunslinger Vest is going to go stupid hard with the Daemon
I'm so ready
Happy to see some serious content drop this season ! But I’ve always wondered why we didn’t get all MW2 maps at launch, I mean the game was designed with the idea of being a dlc at first
Hopefully for the season update they improve the perk balance and killstreaks/scorestreaks with the suggestions you mentioned in a previous video.
One has to wonder if the lac of ground war support is because the player base is shrinking… one would think they focus on the things that see active engagement vs dwindling engagement…
This is great 👍 I don't play borzone, zombies or that other mode so it's great to actually get proper cod content for a change .😂
6-Star looks like Terrace from Adavnced Warfare, kinda cool to see them in a literal different light.
6 star looks very similar to raid, even down to the map layout.
Ace could you do a stat breakdown of all the secondary fulll auto pistols (including full auto aftermarket attachments?
The modular rig (scavenger vest) was leaked since the game came out. They basically brought back old school scavenger before it got neutered, and introduced restock.
The game needs dedicated dev teams. What I mean is there needs to be teams dedicated specifically to map design for the modes, maybe even two teams one for warzone and one for multiplayer (the warzone maps and even any MP map could easily be converted into zombies maps so there does not need to be a dedicated but they don’t care about zombies anyways so it doesn’t matter much). There needs to be two dedicated weapon balancing teams one for warzone and one for multiplayer since the weapons have to be balanced differently because of the pacing and combat ranges. There should be a dedicated team for new weapons, perks, attachments/aftermarket parts, lethals, tacticals, and field upgrades; they can just come up with whacky ideas while the other team can work on balancing. And there should be a dedicated team to bug fixes, we can be the QA testers but they have to be open and honest so we can work together and they have to listen, which sledge is usually pretty good with, thankfully. Finally, this isn’t really what I see as necessary but some thing that would be beneficial, a dedicated team for zombies and co-op modes so there isn’t this situation of lacking content for one mode or another because they decided to focus heavily on one area of the game.
The reason I see this as necessary is because right now Sledghammer, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward are just playing catch-up with their updates, for the last 5 years at least they have been slacking somewhere and especially within the last three years. This isn’t entirely a fault of the dev teams of course it’s mostly Activision’s mismanagement, of course saying “mismanagement” implies they try to manage anything at all, all they care about is the paycheck. Which is why this will ultimately fall on deaf ears. Ultimately, I am curious to see what everyone else thinks about these ideas.
TL;DR: there should be multiple dedicated dev teams to balancing, bug fixes, map design, and new content for each game-mode (multiplayer, warzone, zombies, co-op)
Escort is my all time favourite game mode, I'm so exited to see it come back.
That one will be like a handheld MAC gun "max acceleration Canon"

Okay. I am more than hooked. Oh my god. I am so ready =D
Love the content man keep up the good work always looking forward towards ur videos 🫡
This actually sold me on finally buying the game. Was a big fan of AW, gotta show my support for 6 v 6 content and be able to use the Bal in 2024 lmao
Wow, thank you so much Sledgehammer for paying attention to us OG 6v6 fans who have been here for you since Day1! :D
Grime reminds me a lot of London Docks from WWII
they brought back the specialist perk from MW 2019 into a vest which is nice to have it back
The aftermarket part for the mors is going to essentially turn it into the Po6 from bo3
I was really happy to see this much new content but i'm still very disappointed we haven't had a single new ground war map
Grime reminds me of Mw2019’s hackney yard and piccadilly just based off the European esthetic of it
Wow! Cool guess I'll be logging back in
This might be the most content packed season we've had in the free update era. Really excited
I wish they brought back demolition! Also cool that the model 1887s are returning via aftermarket parts!
I wonder if theyre thinking of a new Advanced Warfare game in 2026 or 2027? 3 eludes to Advanced Warfare and that 6 star map sure looks mighty wall runnable
If would be awesome if Sledgehammer's next game was another AW game. I think we're far enough removed from the previous advanced movement games that getting one would feel like a refreshing change of pace. Just don't do 3 of them in a row and burn people out like last time.
The Bal-27 behaved like this but for the first 5 shots. On all versions of the gun, at least mathematically supposed to but that game had frame rounding which messed with a lot of the design intent that SHG had at the time.
Looks like they’re focusing on growing their MP base.
YES. I wanted max ammo on spawn. Gunner vest is okay. and scavenger gloves worked sometimes, but I'm happy for these inclusions.
With that compression carrier how does it work against smoke grenades? If you’re wearing the vest does it make the smoke less thick or it doesn’t even appear on your screen?
As a SnD player, I despise all the small maps, so disappointing.
I could be wrong but 6 Star's layout reaaaally reminds me of raid. 0:58
Always happy to see Vanguard maps return. They were great
It's nice that MW2 arms are getting a bit of love this season. There are only a few MW2 weapons that are viable in MW3 and it would be nice if Sledgehammer tuned a few more.
Enjoying this cod so much, they’ve done a great job with the mechanics and content.
Generational update from SHG. Haven't played much MWIII in 2024 but plan to jump back in with this update, assuming it doesn't break the game lol
The Mors sniper rifle is the one rumor I was hoping was true. That gun help me get good at sniping and getting those one shot kills because after all you had to reload after every shot.
Quick fix and 6 maps? Huge W
The new maps look promising. I welcome more vibrant environments in contrast to the drab and dirty maps we have now that have dust and debris everywhere severely hurting visibility. Also unsure how the Bal will do within the meta confines. This will probably be the only gun well see in use if its anything like it was back in AW.
Grime looks awesome. Gives me “Cheshire Park” vibes from MW’19
As a OG Cod player seeing all them maps is insane! This is a record lol
Wish they added ground war maps as well, even if they are just chunks of the warzone map, but glad to see the 6v6 players are eating good this season.
So speaking of perks. What does the threat indicator do in game? It seems it supposed to work similar to the evg perk. Also good to see the models 1887 back, full auto m16 and of course the 5 round burst amr9 from AW. And the mors kit sounds like a variant it had in AW
The season looks cracked just from 0:13
i really hope the MP9 is good, i've missed that gun
I also just realized the AMR9 is from AW and it conversion is going to make it act like it did in AW
I won't lie. "Minefield' sounds fun lol. I'm going to try that out
I would love to see them bring back the Forward Intel perk from Vanguard. Such a great perk for pub stomping
Didn't Ace say that he wanted a charged sniper rifle? SHG definitely watched Ace's videos
After the recent videos I am starting to think SHGs entire studio is subbed to this dude... Or maybe Microsoft did more changes in background than we can see. Maybe Ace gets a ton of questions on how to improve the game?
Giant conspiracy, I know. But Ace should be part of the development of COD games imo, even if it's just a minor role.
This is my first multiplayer experience for COD…Seems like this game is really good and fun!!
The Grime 6v6 map is defo from the campaign mission called Trojan.
Not keen on small maps because the spawns are bad in this game
Even if spawns are good, it's always going to be shotgun hell on those microscopic maps
I'm trying to give this comment from a younger perspective, but I feel like younger me would definitely appreciate those random game modes that don't make sense because one day you'll look back at it and see the memories you made and laugh about them. So yeah, they might be dumb game modes but they make for funny moments
That's crazy! That's a lot of stuff. LFG
I want them to add prop hunt lol
So they are adding the original ARM9 via the 5rnd burst kit🙏🏾 i thought it was gonna be a burst gun at launch but hopefully its better than the AW one. Also, I hope I can put a underbarrel grenade launcher to re-live the "Pro-Pipe" days😂 aside from this, this season looking pretty hefty 👌🏾
The only time I’ve ever been able to get a ground war game under 120+ ping was the first free weekend where they had it as one of the free modes. (I’m in Australia and have to play on Asian servers if I even find a match)
Yeah I bought the game because of how fun the free weekend was playing ground war but after that was over the mode just slowly died and now I've gone back to playing MW19. I wish I could get a refund on MWIII.
@@MikeHuntSchmelz yeah that’s a bummer man. They need to have less limited game modes so that Ground War is more likely be chosen. Like small maps, 10v10, a random one, War and Ground War and that’s it.
Do you play Battlefield? It’s essentially all Ground War, it might scratch that itch for you.
6 star map looks like Raid but re skinned and im all for it.
Wonder if the AMPs for MWII guns is a sign of a big balancing check of the rest of them.
