I'm enjoying it. It's a highly versatile SMG with how well it performs at mid to long range, and I like that being a slower RoF, higher damage per bullet SMG means that it doesn't burn through ammo too fast.
Hey Ace, you can actually improve mobility even more with the 20 round mag, not quite useful unless you just hit and run, but just talking about taking it to the extreme (5.3 m/s ads movement speed), also, this weapon has the highest movement speed of the game (aside from melees I think). Using: XRK Knockout Breach Bore 99 Short Barrel Rescue-9 Stock (too good of a stock imo, reminds me of the launch skeleton stock of MW2019) 20 Round Mag XRK Edge Handstop With this combo you get 6.5 m/s movement speed, 7.0 m/s sprint speed and 8.4 m/s tactical sprint speed. Edit: Just checked your gladiator video again, it actually beats every weapon.
I'd probably enjoy this season more if the Kar98 didn't one-shot so easily. Most matches I've played have been against people using it, and it's frustrating
Building this for range and accuracy really gave me Blops2 Peacekeeper vibes. Outclassed by other smgs up close and by other ARs at range, but highly competitive in the mid-range pocket. Been having a lot of fun with it like that.
For those who are struggling to level up the new guns mainly because of the diq hackers and whatnot you can do domination and or ground war. All you need to do to level up the gun is to have it in your hands and capture a point. But if the lobbies are flooded with the diq rat hackers flood the lobby then zombies is your next best bet. The easiest way to level up the gun is to do delivery cargo contracts and make sure that the gun is in your hands when you complete the contract
It's borderline too good, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some nerfs in its future. I feel like it is now the best long range smg, and it performs great up close too. I was using a strafe build yesterday, and you can definitely juke people off target. It's really nice for vests that don't have boots, since you don't need stalker for speed or covert to engage quickly and quietly.
Hey Ace, will you be covering the JAK decimator kit on the lachmann shroud? I’ve been using it a lot since I’ve unlocked it and I want to really see what is the major upsides to it rather than the base mp5.
I’ve got mine set up to have as much sprint speed as possible and It’s actually still pretty stable for being as insanely mobile as it is, it’s definitely my new favorite build for small maps

@@hushkit2119 jak muzzle doesn’t affect sprint speed and that’s the only part of mobility I was really focused on when I made it cause I like just running around and using movement in that way idc as much about ADS speed
@@hushkit2119 the only thing that takes away from sprint speed is the 40 round mag which only slows it by .1 ms other than that it’s max sprint and it’s still pretty accurate considering how most guns would sacrifice that accuracy if I did the same build with them
I had fun running the super fast ADS walking speed build, but instead also giving it a laser for Tac Stance, and placing stalker boots on with the Ninja Vest. You go zooming around the map with it, I believe I was going faster than some of my teammates tac sprint it felt like
When u build this gun for strafe it feels like it moved faster strafing than sprinting at times and it’s super good if ur playing a map that doesn’t have tight corridors
Best iron sights in the game no contest. Try the Atoll-Z4 Suppressed Barrel, Monolith Stock, Bruen Heavy Grip, Razorhawk Laser and a 40 mag. Off the radar, laser beam.
That one probably won't be out until Sunday but I can tell you now, it's a one shot to the Upper Torso and Arms (including hands) out to 50.8m and then you lose the hand and lower forearm multiplier after 50.8m.
It also has ludicrous levels of aim assist, I haven’t objectively measured it but if feels way stronger than normal weapons. Almost feels like a mistake
Something I really like about this gun is it’s beefy sound that the other smgs don’t have as much of. Like compare it to the Bizon, that thing sounds like a toy!!
The fact the Kar98 is a marksman rifle is a why it’s so oppressive rn if they gave it sniper aim assist like they did to the Longbow every one would drop it again. Well maybe not it’s still a popular gun but Jesus the skill gap on it is low as an MNK sniper main lol. Love that it’s back though I’ve never been happier being spammed

Overall pretty happy with this gun especially compared to what we were dealing with last season with the Jak Revenger. However the same can't be said for the Kar98. Let's compare some very key stats with the Kar98 and the Longbow: ADS: 360ms >>> 520ms Strafe: 2.4 m/s > 2.1 m/s Effective Range: 50.8m >>> 12.7m How can people still defend SHG. They aren't even trying to make this balanced. Also haven't confirmed this but Kar98 being a marksman rifle wouldn't it have better aim assist then the Longbow?
You're missing the fact that the KAR98K has half the rate of fire potential with no ability to increase it and it's hard capped at a 5 round mag. Also, the effective range on the Longbow is 23.5m, not 12.7m as it has the same one shot potential in the second damage range. That's not to say the Kar98 isn't clearly better in some areas but I'd honestly rather use the Longbow.

I do still think a weapon that one shots to the chest from most ranges with good ADS and strafe speed is going to be a problem (time will tell). I’ve got this built to where I’ve got a 4.4m/s aim walking speed. Couple that with Stalker boots, and I’m pretty hard to hit.

The Jak headhunter silent rework is absolutely amazing for the Rival-9. It kills so fast and very accurate
I construct all my builds around the JAK purifier under-barrel. That attachment is a monster.
With the recoil being that uniform to the right, you can also adjust by sliding to your left as you strafe.

you should try using a sprint speed build, the sprint speed on this gun is absurd

Having missed the last couple of days, is there a reason why killstreaks are replenishing constantly? Assuming it's some kind of event.
Is there a difference in tac stance strafe speed and aim walking speed or is it technically the same?
Also, it has the fastest normal movement in game by a long shot. 8.6 tac sprint, 6.8 sprint and 6.2 movement is absurd.
