The whitewater kayaking can be so good in the UK when it rains, which it often does, you just have to be ready to chase it to get the goods. We also kayaked on the Upper Conwy and Ogwen but mostly just joy kayaked and let Tom enjoy the world of river running and natural rapids.

Sweet! And yes, chasing rain is the name of the game in old foggy. Some of the best water is walkable when it's not raining. Some isn't even a trickle without rain. But it rains and oh hello! Great to see everyone with big smiles on their faces, even with a bloody nose. This was the definition of stoked.
