I recomand to use camstudio is the best screen recorder out there I had hypercam3 too but it mess up with the quality so i sugest you to use camstudio :) and nice vid
For the character select? I haven't used my mugen in ages but I think its a street fighter alpha screenpack with more slots. If you google mugen screenpacks you'll see loads to choose from.
Of course you can ask, I just have no clue as to how to do it. It's something i've wanted to do as well but just imagined the process would be very long. Im sure there's a tutorial for it though.
Im sure you can, you'd just change the sprite that's used for the icon instead of the portrait.

Aaronosuke I'm using a newer version of FF. Everything went as planned,except when i choose the chara as player 2,it doesn't show. There one sprite. Any ideas how to fix that?
Just Aguy I'm surprised this still even works. I don't have that PC (or a different one) anymore, just my macbook but I'll look into it on Sunday. I want to redo the vid and update everything so hopefully I'll have it up in the week.

hmm maybe it's because of the screen pack? the character is ryu; he's not that tall nor wide right? well. i guess im gonna have to resize him in paint? XD
Im not too sure, if its too stretched it could be that the character itself is just big? Like with the Hulk i had to have him partly cut off because hes so wide. There probably is an option to do it but as i said i only know how to swap the portraits with the character sprite.
i want to make one so bad -_- i envy people who can do sboards. ill just search in the internet--wish there were some. heey subscribed anyway. :D

A Google User Mate, the vid is 6 years old and it's not about creating custom ones, it's how to replace existing portraits. Hope that helps.
@Aaronosuke hi there , can you do a video tutorial were you explain how to port an animation from a 2D model to another 2D model without frankenspritting or photoshop? i have seen some characters for mugen that have the movements of other characters, an example the female version of original zero caller zeroko white h, but none still explained that, i can guarantee that i am not a credit's thief and i don't want to open a youtube channel
Hey Franco, unfortunately I haven't used or done any tinkering with Mugen since this video (9 years ago) so I wouldn't be able to assist you this. Best thing to do, maybe have a look on the Mugen subreddit, you should be able to find what you need there.
