This applies to good clocks that are actually going to last. On cheap clock movements that will die long before the parts wear out, go right ahead. Plus, elsctronic clocks aren't near as open as mechanical ones

Should stop working after enough dust sticks to the oil. Those movements are not meant for servicing.

My wall clock runs behind the actual time. I have changed the cell still the same issue, can you please tell me what is the issue,

Mine runs fast. 10 minutes per hour, sometimes even faster. Anything I could do to correct this. Besides finding a replacement movement?
