- Like those Expensive Subtle ebikes… but cheap - PVY H500 Pro Review
Here is the PVY H500 Pro Electric Bike. It's a Mountain Bike style Ebike that looks and rides like a normal bike. Only it's an Ebike so has that extra push when you need it. I think it's an Electric bike for people who didn't really want an electric bike. Let's see if it's any good...
If you like the look of the H500 Pro you can get it here:

Nice review, mate.
Thanks very much!
Instead of front deraileur and 3 sprockets, a lot better option will be single sprocket and wide casette at rear - it cost nearly same price.
Budget options are available on the market (1x9 - Microshift Advent)
Yeah strange gearing decision that is. I equip all my bikes with 7 speed and 52T chainring and I ain't ghost pedalling until like 28mph.
*I like cheap, and I like "normal" lookin eBikes!*

Hello hello 👋. Any idea if Engwe X20 climbs hills better than Engine pro?
Bought L20 , really love it 😃
The x24 doesn't. But the x20 has smaller wheels so might be better. Can't remember power or torque though off the top of my head. Love the L20 👌
Oh...besides , how do you know that x24 is not better for climbing hills? I couldn't find the famous Sandy lane test on this bike 😁
@genasgenas check out the one where i pit the x24 against the Wowgo 3e. I didn't post the time but I know it 😉
@@e-VRCfound it. At the same spot x24 slowed down to 7mph and L20 had 8mph. So result probably is very similar to Engine Pro, M20 and L20. 1min 10-12sec
That throttle kills it for me. The most useful thing about my ebike is being able to use the throttle to pull away quickly from the lights or on a hill start. Like it other than that.
To get the battery out is not quite the method I first thought by the pedals, It comes out through the headlight
That makes sense
@@e-VRC that's half of it. After disconnecting wires at the crank end and the light, the head has to be taken off as well.
But if the station is west mids a battery is removed before entering the their station.
With a pvy 500, just tell them it's an ordinary bike lol but if it does catch fire and big enough to cause delays, be prepared to be sued for £million+
It be way too much trouble dismantling the battery everytime catching a west midlands train
funny enough I asked west Mids railways about their policy, they said a battery cannot just be switched off on the screen, it has to be taken out unless there is an isolation switch. Then I asked can a battery stay on a bike if it has an on/off button the battery itself-no reply so when catching a train at Shrewsbury, if it is a west midlands train the battery is taken out, if it is a transport for Wales train it doesn't
i bought a cheap argos electric mountain bike looks like that perfect for me for work cost me £300 it was a bargain
Nice. Didn't realise they were that cheap in Argos.
@@e-VRCwish I new they was going that cheap would of had 10. 😂😂 e bikes as you no are not cheap. Even Argos could not sell them that cheap.
what app are u using for speedo and is it on andriod cheers
Yeah it's just called Speedometer I think
@@e-VRC can u take a look at your phone as numerous by that name only have android so if yours is apple doesn't matter cheers
@corkstud1 it is called speedometer and the icon is a blue 69. I'm on android.
Try changing the battery lolz. It is removable but a major headache and would not recommend anyone to give it a go..
If a battery has to be removed before entering some train stations such as west midlands railways, that is going to be some task with this bike.
Otherwise it is not a bad MTB for urban and light off road, I prefer 21 or 24 gears after the cut off to play with but believe me, that battery is a nightmare
am staying with my e scooter , way better way more range and power
They are not legal on public roads with a hand throttle, don't say the hand throttle is not connected, try and prove that and convince the law.
You actually are allowed a throttle technically but it has to be limited to 3.7mph as a walk or starting assist. Coming back to reality however most people even with a throttle will never even have the police look twice at them unless they're endangering themselves or others. Throttle is safer for slow moving traffic in my opinion or when starting from a stop that's the only time I personally use my throttle.
They are legal with a hand throttle that assists at 6kph actually
You are a brave man heading outside on a bike at this time of year without gloves😳🤣, shame about it being 36v if it was 48 then it would probably do 25mph.
Yeah 48v would be nice. I was out today with leather gloves and I was still freezing. Wasn't too mad the day I did this.
@@e-VRC I wear these ski gloves that I bought to take to the alps. They keep my hands warm down until about -4c if I'm at 30mph and they weren't too expensive. Can't wait until spring though I've had enough of winter riding already.
@JudeTheCZcamsPoopersubscribe nice. Yeah same. Winter is crap for this channel.
