Merry Christmas! Every year, one of our family traditions is to head to Charlotte Motor Speedway to see the Christmas Lights! Always great family time, looking at lights and riding on the NASCAR circle track, watching a movie and visiting the Christmas Village! If you are reasonably close to Charlotte, this is a great family night out. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!

I took the Richard Petty driving class on that track 12 years ago and the crazy thing when we got there it was raining and they had all of us get are passenger cars out there on the track to help dry it off and we went about middle ways through the turns on it in a Jeep Cherokee but when I took the class and drove the race car I actually felt more comfortable in the turns and carried more speed in the turns then I did down the straightaways that dog leg on the front stretch was the most treacherous part of that whole track I couldl fly through the turns but that dog leg on the front stretch was treacherous it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in a race car is trying to gain speed though that dog leg on the front stretch!🦅🇺🇸🦅
Man, I bet that was awesome at Charlotte. I did a ride along at Rockingham Dragway many years ago.......scared me to death....
@@TurboJohnRacing me and my dad drove the cars but my son and nephew did a ride along in the two seater and they got out of those cars saying it was the craziest thing they had ever done because while me and Dad averaged about I think I did about 140 mph and dad did 143 of course he beat me but the guy taking the boys around the track he was doing close to 160 mph and my son was 12 or and his cousin was 11.🦅🇺🇸🦅
We got a horse park that’s decorated like that here in ky. We don’t get to ride on a high bank though, pretty awesome, merry Christmas 🎄!

Merry Christmas Turbo John and family hope Santa was good to y'all and we have a drive thru Christmas light exhibit almost exactly like that but it's by our local amusement park called Paramount's Kings Dominion they have over a two mile long drive thru light exhibit like that on one side of the road then you drive thru a tunnel just like at the track then once you get to the other side you can get out and walk around and get kettle corn hot chocolate and let the kids play in a bounce house and a few other things plus they have a real Santa there and like a little farmer's market where you can buy stuff from small business owners but I do like the fact that yours is at Charlotte Motor Speedway I wish Richmond International Raceway did the same thing but they only have stuff for 4th of July

I tell all my nitrous buddies, once they go turbo they will never go back to nitrous! It really is a lot easier it seems.
I drag race bikes also. One of my bikes gsxr1000 has a 2 stage veolicty turbo on it. I love the way it pulls. I run mid 5s on a 200 shot of gas. Foot brake. I want more. Lol

Oh hell John you need to do that at Charlotte's sister or brother track Bristol you think those banks are scary you haven't seen nothing yet these are like 34 degrees of banking it's down right terrifying but it's my home track and I love it like you love Galot! 🦅🇺🇸🦅

@@TurboJohnRacing oh hell let us know were and when I want to see when she gets out of the car if she's screaming I love it let's do it again or if she chasing you with her helmet trying to hit you over the head with it! My guess it will be the first I even think she's going to want to build her a car you might get more than your planing for if you're not careful! 🦅🇺🇸🦅 But I must say I would give anything to see at least a 3rd of the field with women driver's! I know one thing if that happens us guys are going to have to get way faster on the lights! 🦅🇺🇸🦅
Guys every Speed Way Motorsports track has a version of this Las Vegas Bristol Charlotte and I think that's it but I know Indy does one of their own that they say is good! 🦅🇺🇸🦅
It is so fun, maybe in the next few years we can go to other ones.
