10 Hours on Vietnam's Communist Express 🇻🇳

- It was time to head to Saigon and end our Vietnam adventure but that required a 10 hour train to get there. Myself, @baldandbankrupt and @TimKyoutube left Nha Trang in the morning and began that journey to the south in hope for a final adventure! We certainly found it 🇻🇳

I swear everytime bald shows up.. people's travel channels blow up
In March 2014 I got a sleeper train from Hue to Hanoi and 2 hours into the journey a car drove across the tracks and collided with our train! Maddest thing was it only delayed us for about an hour before we were moving again 😂 if that happened in the UK, the whole line would be suspended for days!
NB: I don’t know how injured the people were!

Ben, something you guys should know, and this is kind of coincident, the place at 13:37, is in fact the same neighborhood where Mr. Harald Baldr had his beard shaved 3 years ago when he had his Vietnam's journey (1$ shave Vietnam)

Enjoying the Vietnam videos Ben. Interesting seeing the train ride and I'd be curious to take it myself. The train from Hanoi to Lao Cai which people take to see the rice terraces is an experience. It's the same train that goes through the streets of Hanoi. You'll get little if any sleep on it as it rocks from side to side.
Dogs are eaten in Vietnam but from what I've been told by my Vietnamese friends it seems to be mostly in the north of the country. Friends I've spoken to in the central part seem to recoil at the idea. In late January it's New Year which is when it's done for good luck.
An easy conversion is 25000 dong to $1/ £1/ 1€. It floats roughly around that.

Enjoy your trip young lad. I enjoyed West Africa, Senegal Thies, and Dakar. way back in 1973 to 1975 when I was a t6 to 18 year old. teenager.
Today I love Ontario Canada and have no desire to travel. I have been to Europe Africa, and across Canada.
I think that comes with age Marie. The more older you get, the more you want to settle down and avoid as much the hassle of travelling.
A definitely good choice and swap you made with the restaurant @3:00 . 10 hours in the grey and dark day couch would be insupportable. The interior of the buffet car is like a colonial style design. Great video. Thanks.

The restaurant at 15:00 seems costly for one portion. Not sure how do they work but the price is not normal at all :)) I think they overcharge the foreigner too often so that they have the English menu.

Hi Ben, I have watched your journey in VN. I"m sorry you and your friends seem not to enjoy the trip much. I would recommend to do more research where you want to visit and what to eat so you can enjoy the trip and food. If you randomly stop by a restaurant or an unknown places, then you would feel bored and ruin your trip. I hope you and your friends will have a fun and great trip in your coming days 😀
