- This is my debut video for CZcams. The Chanel will be predominantly 3D printing and photography related but I will also look at other tech which interests me. Hopefully you will find some interesting points in this unboxing. Going forward I will be offering interesting stuff and 3D printing ideas that will hopefully add to the community.
The 510 battery life is amazing. I use them about 40hrs a week while I work. It'll give me the "low battery, please charge headset" warning, and I'll use them for another 8 hours. Never had them actually turn off due to low battery. If the 520 is even better, that might make it worth the upgrade. That and the headpad.

Do the 520s and the 510s have the same earpad size? I hoped to buy extra earpads for the 520s; however, those of the 510s are only available in the market. I was wondering if they will fit the 520s too.

I have an issue with the WH-CH510 model while streaming. It either works as a microphone or a headset, not both at the same time. Any idea how to fix that? As soon as I turn off the mic, the speakers work on the headphones and I hear the game I'm streaming.

Thanks so much for your comment. Im really only using these to listen to a bluetooth source and for taking calls etc. I don't know anything beyond using them in that way. I know they are great for that. The WH-CH520 has a higher version of Bluetooth. Im not sure if they can be used beyond listening & taking calls etc. Best wishes and kind regards.
Just bought a pair the 520s ....on 1st ever charge do I do it for three hours solid?

Thanks for watching the video & your comment. Im not an Audiophile but I find both of the units to have pleasing sound reproduction. On balance I prefer the 510 because its voice announcements are more informative than the 520. On other other hand the 520 unit has an app so the sound can be customised to suit your taste. I normally use things in the default and haven't investigated the app. Id suggest trying the headphones in a store, to evaluate them in person.

I really like the 510 and 520 but I prefer the 510 model for the voice confirmation of on/off and of course the power % information, which is a game changer IMHO. Im so used to the 510 and I just love them. Im not aware of the other model you want to compare them with. Sorry. I hope you enjoy whichever you choose. Kind regards.

I bought the 510 a year and a half ago and when I use it for more than 4 hours the pain starts
As for 520, I will buy it in three days

What about sound difference?
Thank you for watching. I really don't think there is much difference. I didnt try the app for the 520s to see if it made any difference to the sound. The app is supposed to make them adjustable for preferences. They sound the same to me though. I do prefer the 510s because the information announcements are more meaningful. This has no bearing on the sound quality. Kind regards & best wishes.

Im really sorry. Mine are still going but I baby them now. Maybe you can get the 520s, which are great value. I wouldn't recommend used headphones due to the hygiene side as ears are so important to keep in good condition for a happy life etc. Kind regards & best wishes.
