Almost forgot, the legendary start line!

I recently transitioned to the IT industry after following my dad's path, I don't make a whole lot of money yet, but the Isle of Mann TT is one of the biggest items on my bucket list. I recently swallowed my pride and became an Uber Eats and Door Dasher just to gather enough money to see it next year. I hope to see all of these legends in 2023.

My apptitudes about this type of race is definitely not based upon the arbitrary a novice rider like me would like to apprehend. It is the honorable consideration that i treasure like a course of apprenticeship. Thank you very much for the very opportune chances you have been giving me.
I really like the insight your video brings, the preparation and look of concern of your family. Also the demands made on the rider and machine during the race. I've always wanted to race at the TT... too expensive tho :-( Thanks for the great vid tho.

It stops the riders temptation to look at it. They know by gear and revs what they are doing in a corner. Looking at the speedo is just a distraction that can cause a crash so they all tape it over.
i think its also because they have aftermarket gears, the ratios would be off so it would show the wrong speed and cause all sorts of problems. as 0Zolrender0 said, they know by gear and revs/sound the speed theyre going, so its better to just hide the false speed reading and be done with it.
You gotta hand it to the people of the Isle of Man, it's a community wide effort to make sure there are no glitches or interuptions of any kind. One stray sheep and it's a likely fatal event.
