@@miketodd8 yes! I have been to many an Amy Grant concert and I want to say Marc was in some of those concerts? I could be wrong. But, I did know of him before the “covering Queen songs” days.

Please PLEASE find a way to perform under pressure with Dexter’s Michael C Hall. He’s a HUGE Bowie fan, and sounds just like him, that collaboration would be one for the ages!
You can see Marc perform the song live with Francois Olivea Doyon (Queen Extravaganza), Tristan Avakian, Brandon Etheridge (Ultimate Queen Celebration), and many other great singers who do a great Bowie.
You know what's really frustrating? Listening year after year the same Mariah Carrie, George Michael, Frank Sinatra, etc. only Christmas songs on the radio this time of the year.... why?!...
Get Marc's Christmas albums (including one with Downhere) and listen to all the goodness and originality.
Call your radio stations and request whoever you want to listen to.

@marcmartel did you not like the sound of your own voice in recordings in the early years when you first started?? Please reply I’m so curious
Marc has said in interviews that when he was young and trying to find his own sound, he thought, due to the prevailing attitudes of the time, sounding more like Eddie Vedder would make him sound cooler and more manly . He jokes about it being a bit embarrassing now when he listens to the very early stuff. When he reverted to just being himself is when people started telling him he sounded like "that guy from Queen, including one of his bandmates who was a big queen fan and encouraged him to keep developing his own voice .

Ann Wilson is a great singer, but Ms. Nash is no slouch with two top ten singles (Kiss Me, and There She Goes) and a couple of platinum albums. But you are right, the talent level in churches is so great that she is just an average church singer. :P
