How you can do custom sale discount like 3 for 36$, 3 for 42 $ for one type of Item and 2 for 54$ for another type of Items?

You can create a volume offer for this.
For 3 for 36$
You can set volume offer with sell product on this price and set 3 QTY then $12 so if user purchase 3 QTY of the product then the price will be $12 for each means $36 for 3 QTY.
Same for 3 for 42 $ you can set the price $14 for each QTY and select sell product on this price with volume offer.
