In this video I unbox some Epic models from Vanguard Miniatures. vanguardminiatures.co.uk/ Scruffy Crow • This Is Going To Be EP... Jonny Watson Gaming • Epic Space Marine War HQ / @warhq
These look great. This scale makes sense for me for futuristic battles. Although I never played 40k the scale seemed strange when you added vehicles or had anything to do with range.
Indeed, 28mm scale gaming does suffer from issues of scale when it goes into big games. 6mm and 10mm offer a lot more scope. A 6ft by 4ft table for 6mm offers a very large area.
Beautiful models and such clean casts. You should have lots of fun with these. Thanks for sharing
They are indeed, so nice in fact that they may jump to the head of my painting queue.
Can’t wait to see these painted
Cheers, painting may be a while as I can't make up my mind which Legion/Chapter to go with.

No worries, still need yo get these painted.
Great unboxing mate. It’s got me thinking about my epic now! 😀
Glad you liked it, looking forward to seeing more of your Epic stuff painted.
@@stonehorsegaming Yeah iv got another Great Gargant to do. Gonna do this one in Goff colours.
Awsome man I think Im going to dive in to.
They are wonderful miniatures, which faction are you thinking of going for?
@@stonehorsegaming Ill probably need to get two sides. Probably start with guard and Orks but I can see myself getting all factions eventually lol
Nice mini but when I head down that road I’m torn by those or the 3mm ones?
3mm does offer a fantastic scope for this level of wargaming. However I think the size makes the models hard too distinguish for players at the table.
