    You know i have read that verse for the better part of my christian life and also have heard that verse shared by many at various ocassions but i have to admit i paid very little attention to the latter part ". teaching them to observe all things that i have commanded you;
    This is what we really need at this hour, to diciple the nations and to teach them to observe ALL THINGS!

    Disciples making disciples. Good stuff. I know this is 6 years late, but I hope the conference went well and the concepts took hold.

    One of the most influential books in my ministry was Greg Ogden's Transforming Discipleship. He advocates the same principle that you are advocating here. Oh... and you just mentioned that book in your VIDEO! So nevermind. :)

      Lee Keele It was awesome, because Greg Ogden was at the conference and I got to sit in on a breakout session where he talked about the intention behind "Discipleship Essentials", its layout, etc. Great resources!!!

    Great stuff, I hope this has worked for your and your ministry has been blessed. I'll add that the Church has been duped into thinking they go out, convert people, and then get them to go to Church where they'll learn. That wasn't Christ's model. None of His followers really believed until later in their relationship with Him, and certainly not fully until born again by the Holy Spirit. We should be going to people, telling them about Christ and sharing the gospel, and inviting them to "follow me as I follow Christ." If they want to fall away, they will just as the thousands left Christ, and if God makes them born again, they'll stay. Have 12 with three more intimate, and even 72 God willing, for three years training them all the teachings of Christ, baptizing as they are born again and compelled to give their lives to Christ, showing them how this is done so it can be easily replicated while teaching through the Bible in three years (Francis Chan's Multiply movement goes through the Bible in a year, and that's good for him, I just figure why not keep it as close to Christ's model as possible).
    I haven't started this yet as I'm preparing the ministry groundwork. But soon I will.

    Pastor Madeline where and how where you ordained? The Bible says a woman should not minister to the congregation when men are included.

    She has a very warm, inviting, non-judgmental presentation of God's Word. There could be no practical reason for dismissing her out-of-hand. What? An instrument of the Devil?
    Her middle name is Carrasco, one source of her south-of-the-border good looks. Hopefully not TOO good-looking.
